Abstract
Arindra Riyan Bagaswara, 2017, NIT: 50135017, “ The analysis of the impact of the decline of generator diesel lubricating oil pressure on the MV. Energy Prosperity by using USG method”, Technical Study Program Minithesis, Diploma IV Program, Merchant Marine Polytechnic of Semarang, Supervisor 1 : Dwi Prasetyo, MM., M.Mar.E, Supervisor II : Sri Purwantini, SE., S.Pd., MM. Lubrication is a system which all the motoring engine components require to be lubricated, in order to prevent the direct friction between components that cause fatal defect. In fuel motor lubrication is done to all moving parts thoroughly, therefore required maximal pressure in supporting generator diesel activities. Tekanan harus mencapai nilai 4,0 – 4,5 kg/cm2 untuk mencapai pelumasan yang maksimal. The pressure have to reach grade 4,0-4,5 kg/cm2. This part to preventing if auxilary engine is overloaded so the pressure not to close the bad lubricating limitation and alarm occcurs on the pressure 3,7 kg/cm2. The writter formulates the issue by research the factors of decline of the liner sylinder system lubrication, the impact of the decline of the liner sylinder system lubrication, and effort which is done to handle the decline of the liner sylinder system lubrication. The writter resumes the issues and solve the problem by using observation method directly, interview, documentation, and literature review to get the data which is related to diesel generator that usefull to support the writing fluency in minithesis making. There are many causes in less of the optimal of lubrication system maintenance on generator diesel. Amongst which is happened on the MV. Energy Prosperity, from he causes which is founded. On the MV. Energy Prosperity less of the lubrication sytem optimality so the lubricate oil pressure abnormal is caused by the problem on main bearing and crank pin bearing, the high temperature of lubricate oil and problem in the pump that very impact to lubrication oil system.
