Abstract

HOWLAN PANJAITAN, 2017, NIT: 50134782.N, “Carry out of International Safety Guide for Oil Tanker and Terminal (ISGOTT) On Ship MT.Harmony Seven”, Thesis with study of Nautical department, Diploma IV Program, Mrchant marine Polytechnic Semarang, first advicer: Capt. H. Moh. Aziz Rohman, M.M.,M.Mar. second advicer: Yustina Sapan, S.ST.,M.M. Background of This thesis is importhan of carry out the guide of ISGOTT on ship. With this mindset and base on survey result that writer did on ship so writer made the points of problem for carrying out of ISGOTT on MT.Harmony Seven are how to carry out ISGOTT on ship MT.Harmony Seven, Why carry out of ISGOTT on ship MT.Harmony Seven less of completly, what impact will be happen of less completely carrying out of ISGOTT. Base on researched that writer did about ISGOTT on MT.Harmony Seven, so the writer got carry out of ISGOTT on MT.Harmony Seven not completely done, it caused of some problem like the old construction of MT.Harmony Seven, the equipments on bad condition or broken, the ship less of maintainence, crews has less of experience about the right work procedure, less of attention from ship company for supply spearpart needed on ship. The conclution that writer took are less of carry out ISGOTT is caused of less attention from goverment and ship company for ship’s expedience and standard work for ship operational. Suggests that writer can give are Goverment investigation have to do the right way and more selective for give permission on operation ship, for company should supply the spearpart needed on ship so crews can work effectively and efficienly, for crews ship have to understand ISGOTT procedure and fix the damages on ship for increasing the safety work. Key word: ISGOTT, inert gas, maintenance.
