Abstract
Luthfiansyah Arif Kurniawan, 50135094, 2017: "Analysis of Ship’s Crew Delivery Delays When Sign On in PT. Pertamina Shipping Jakarta", Poert And Shipping Department, Diploma IV Program, Merchant Marine Politechnic of Semarang, Advisor I: Ir. Fitri Kensiwi, M.Pd, Advisor II: H. Mustholiq, M.M., M.Mar.E. The crew is a major element in carrying out ship operations. This becomes important in the procurement or delivery of crew. However, the delivery of crew has a relatively long and long process whereas often the crew does not follow the process according to the schedule so this causes delays. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to find out the cause of the delay of ship crew shipments on board. Subjects in this study are the crew of the ship, part vendors, and PIC crew deck department. Data collection in this research using interview method with data analysis technique using data reduction reduction, presentation, and conclusion / verification. The results of this research the delivery of crew in accordance with the scheduling so that no delay occurs. From the result of data analysis, the cause of the delay of crew ship sending due to several factors that is the delay of revalidation of the certificate, the delay of PKL process, the implementation of MCU not according to schedule. Efforts that can be done in overcoming the problem of delay, among others: the provision of a statement and sanctions if not follow the existing procedures. Keywords: Delays, Delivery, Crew.
