Abstract

Ribut Prastyo, 2018, NIT: 50135068.K, "Analysis of Effect of Loading and Unloading Facilities of Human Resources on CPO Loading and Unloading Quality at Port of PT. Maspion Gresik ", Thesis of Sea and Port Transportation Management, Diploma Program IV, Semarang Polytechnic of Shipping Sciences, Advisor I: Ir. Fitri Kensiwi, M.Pd. Advisor II: Dr.A.Agus Tjahjono, M.M., M.Mar.E Oil palm is one of Indonesia's main export commodities export commodities, in every year has increased significantly. Oil palm production is done by expanding the area and improving the quality and quantity of palm oil in order to compete in the international market. At the time the authors carry out the practice, the authors found the problem in the process of loading and unloading palm oil in the Port is about loading and unloading facilities and human resources. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. Data collection was done by spreading questionnaires to respondents in this case is Taruna who has done the practice of land. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The result of the research shows that the constraint faced is the loading and unloading facilities in the Port which are less effective and the less professional human resources so that it affects the quality of palm oil. If loading and unloading facilities and human resources are adequate, the quality of the goods produced will be better as at the time of dismantling or loading of palm oil conducted in the Port of PT. Maspion Gresik. Efforts are made to overcome these obstacles is to improve the system of loading and unloading facilities at the port and conduct regular maintenance, and provide knowledge about port operations to the workers at the Port Keywords: Means of Loading and Unloading Human Resources.
