Abstract

Erwin Bagus Andriyanto, 2017, 49124477. N, ”Optimalisasi Pelaksanaan Bongkar Muat Oil Product Di Atas Kapal MT. AKRA 30”, minithesis Nautical Studies Program, Diploma Program IV, Merchant Marine Polytechnic Semarang, Supervisor : (I) Capt. I Kadek Laju, SH, MM, M.Mar (II) Poernomo Dwiatmojo Indonesia is one of the countries producing oil and gas in the world. With ever increasing and increasing production of oil fields, refineries and oil depots in Indonesia, the role of the tankers in this very important role to means of transport of oil and gas sector. Along with the development of science and technology, then the tankers themselves undergo changes and development and renewal, especially in terms of loading and unloading equipment on board with the advancement of technology, must be in balance with the human factor so as to operate equipmentsadvanced equipment properly and correctly in accordance with the existing procedures and manuals. The optimization is the process of improving something with deeds and thoughts. Loading and unloading is the placement or removal of cargo from land to the ship and vice versa, move the cargo from the ship to land at the destination port. Oil prouct is a type of oil so that the result of the production of the distillery. The results of this research have found several problems that occur when loading and unloading process took place and the efforts made to keep the unloading goes smoothly. Preparation, implementation, monitoring and inspection on loading and unloading process as described and application management into current research findings. Concluding the process of loading and unloading of oil products on board MT. AKRA 30 PT. AKR Corporindo.TBK often encounter obstacles that result in a delay when in port. The obstacles that occur during the loading and unloading process is: the human factor, factor of appliance, factor of nature, lack of understanding, knowledge and awareness of the crew in the dangers and how the procedure of loading and unloading in accordance with the standards and is safe and the machine was damaged when navigation entering the port. Suggestions from authors should be: all relevant parties such as: the ship with the land or the company must do a good cooperation, providing guidance and training to the entire crew of the loading and unloading process in accordance with the procedures and the operation of loading and unloading equipment is right so that the entire crew can carry out duties in accordance with their respective responsibilities, to maximize existing equipment on board, and taking care of the loading and unloading equipment periodically and ask the company to do the addition or replacement of damaged equipment.
