Abstract

Stephanus Adhytia Purnama, 2017, NIT: 50134856. N, “The Optimization Loading Oil Process Marine Fuel Oil On MT. Soechi Anindya By Ship To Ship”, Nautical Thesis, Diploma IV Program, Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic, Material Adviser (I): Capt. Dwi Antoro, M.M., M.Mar., and as Methodologi and Writing Adviser (II): Agus Hendro Waskito, M.M. Indonesia is one of the oil and gas producing in the world. With the increasing and advanced production of oil fields, oil refineries, and oil depots in Indonesia, the role of tankers in this case plays an important role for the transportation of oil and gas. Along with the development of science and technology, the tanker ships experience changes and developments and renewal, especially in terms of loading and unloading equipment on board with technological advances, must be balanced with the human resources factor in order to operate the advanced equipment properly and correctly in accordance with existing procedures and manuals. The problems are (1) How to apply oil loading Marine Fuel Oil in a good one by Ship To Ship on MT. Soechi Anindya’s ship? (2). What are the constraints occur during the loading and unloading process? Optimization is the process of improving things by actions and also thoughts. Loading and unloading is the placement or transfe r of cargo from land to ship and conversely, moving the cargo from ship to shore at the port of destination. Marine Fuel Oil is a type of fuel oil used for direct combustion in industrial kitchens. Based on the analysis that the loading implementation on MT. Soechi Anindya’s ship often experiences delays due to some constraints both from human factors and from equipment factors. From the above analysis it is necessary to train all crews regarding loading and unloading process in accordance with the procedure and operation of the correct loading and unloading tools and handling of loading and unloading equipment. Conclusion (1). Process of loading oil Marine Fuel Oil on MT. Soechi Anindya’s ship by Ship To Ship owned by PT. Equator Maritime often have obstacles that effect in delays at the port of dismantling. (2). Constraints that occur during loading and unloading process are: lack of understanding, knowledge and awareness of ship crews about the hazards and how the loading procedure is in accordance with the standard and safe.
