Abstract

Fakhrian Tangguh Pratama, 2017, NIT: 50135084 K, "Optimization of B-path Application To Support Timeliness Sign On And Sign Off Crew Rolling Plan in PT. Berlian Laju Tanker, Tbk", Mini Thesis Port and Shipping Department, Diploma IV Programmed, Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic, Advisor (I): NurRohmah, S.E., M.M, Advisor (II): Dr.Winarno,S.ST.,M.H. Crews regulation is one of the things that need special attention in shipping company because it involves the ship owner or crewing department. Work contract in PT.Berlian Laju Tanker, Tbk is 6 months for officer and 8 months for ratings onboard the vessel but in seafarer that has second officer in vessel MT. Celosia with Singapore flag have to work more than the work contract which attached to the contract off work agreement, thats make we know crew rolling plan program in B-path application not optimization for manage rolling crew process. This researchs purpose is to know the B-path application, to know the obstacle faced in usage of B-path application and to know effort that need to do to optimize B-path application to support timeliness sign on and sign off rolling plan in PT.Berlian Laju Tanker,Tbk. The method used during this research is quality discriptive with describe usage of B-path in rolling crew data collection with interviews, observation and documentation or data collection and documents in PT.Berlian Laju Tanker, Tbk. This research's result show that the application B-path is as database storage or safe place to personal data as like as diploma, certificate, seaman book, passport, medical checkups, and other personal documents. B-path application as well as the place to make crew rolling plan to plan the rolling crew in a certain period. The obstacle that faced in usage of B-path application is error system in B-path application and lack of understanding of operator in usage of B-path application effort that have to do to take care the obstacle that exist in optimize B-path application are checking the B-path application on a regular basis by Informatic and Telecommunication Department give training and familization about B-path application in PT.Berlian Laju Tanker,Tbk to the employees in the Crew Manning and Management division (CMM).
