Abstract

Esti Lusiana, 2018, NIT: 51145178 N, "Implementation of MARPOL 73/78 Annex I at MT. Enduro ", Nautical Thesis, Diploma IV Program, Merchant Marine Polythecnic Semarang. Material Adviser (I): Capt. H. Sumardi, SH, MM, M. Mar and Writing Adviser II: Amad Narto, M.Pd, M. Mar. E Nowdays oil is necessary in each country which is developing country increasing, thus the import and exsport of oil becoming the first selector. It is make iolpollution at sea is so often. To prevent and cope with the oil spil, so there is an oil spill drill. Base on the research showing that there are some factors that make oilspill on board, because of the factor procedures, human factors, and the mecanical factor. To prevent the occurrence of oil pollution, a research conducted to handle oil spills. enforcement of oil spill drill which is not conducted as per schedule lead to implementation of oil spill drill for deadling with oil spill not optimized. The purpose of this research is to find out factor that makes oil spill during loading, This research is also to understand what is the training system and certainaim that must be implemented for optimizing oil spill drill on board MT. Enduro This is descriptive qualitative research with describing in detail about the factors of oil spill on board with fishbone analysis and to optimize oil spill drill on board with a fault tree analysis. Base on the research and the conclusion factors that makes oil spill because procedural error, human error, and lacking equipment to communication, And can solve the problem by running thr loading procedure properly set on board, familiarisation with the crew, and make handy talky requests as a support when cargo handling on board. Training system must be implemented in board is by doing oil spill as per schedule. In order oil spill drill going optimum, so we need to make a good enforcement of oil spill drill as per schedule and make oil spill drill plan. Oil spill drill to train crew in handling oil spill, so when an oil spill on board can be handle properly. Keywoard : oil spill, loading, oil spill drill
