Facely Nurul Hidayati, NIT 50135054 K, 2017, “QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) Function Analysis Towards Discharging in Order to Press Work Collision at PT. Maritim Batubara Pertama Paiton”, Thesis Diploma IV Program, Port and Shipping Department, Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic, 1st Advisor: Sri Murdiwati, S.Sos., M.Si 2nd Advisor: H. Aslang, M. Pd., M. Mar. E The amount of significant work collision makes the government practice Occupational Health and Safety in discharging coal becomes important because this activity is related with dangerous loading and discharging 4.1 class (Flammable solids) and PLTU complex that becomes one of the national vital object. The application of QHSE PT MBP Paiton has function to apply Occupational Health and Safetyin discharging activity to manifest Occupational Health and Safetytarget and press the number of work collision. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze how far the application of QHSE function inside discharging activity and QHSE function impact at pressing work collision in PT MBP Paiton. The methodology that has been choosed are descriptive and qualitative. For collecting the data, writer used interview, observation, library study and document study. The choosen location is PT. Maritim Batubara Pertama Paiton and jetty private port area 7 &8, and the length of obersvation are two months since April 26th 2016 until June 26th 2016. The result of the research shows that QHSE function in discharging activity PT MBP Paiton can increase the knowledge and realization of the discharging workers toward the importance of Occupational Health and Safetyincrease the competence discharging workers and increase the alertness to cope with emergency condition. It is also the effort of the company to decrease health danger and in the end of the day, could press work collision in discharging activity in PT MBP Paiton. In the end of this thesis, writer gives suggestion to PT. Maritim Batubara Pertama Paiton to increase the discipline of discharging worker and tighten the secure of Occupational Health and Safety application toward discharging activity also add the number of safety officers, thus, it could maximize QHSE Division’s performance.
