Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Nurul Fatimah, 2020, NIT: 531611306268 K, “Peranan Divisi Pengawakan dalam Merealisasikan Petty Cash MV. Abusamah Periode Januari-Juni Tahun 2019 di PT. Pupuk Indonesia Logistik (PILOG)”, Program Diploma IV, Program Studi Tatalaksana Angkutan Laut dan Kepelabuhanan, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Irma Shinta Dewi, M.Pd., Pembimbing II: Budi Joko Raharjo, M.M. Proses perealisasian petty cash merupakan salah satu kegiatan operasional kapal. Namun dalam pelaksanaannya belum berjalan dengan baik sehingga perlu adanya perbaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui realisasi penggunaan petty cash, kendala yang dihadapi oleh divisi pengawakan, dan upaya dalam menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian yang diambil dari data primer dan sekunder. Data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa realisasi petty cash berjalan sesuai dengan metode pengadaan (imprest fund system), terdapat kendala-kendala dalam perealisasian petty cash antara lain nota pembelian barang kurang lengkap sebagai bukti pembayaran di atas kapal dan keterlambatan pengiriman dokumen petty cash dari pihak ekspedisi. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah memberikan penyuluhan kepada Nahkoda agar selalu melengkapi dokumen petty cash sebagai bukti pembelanjaan barang dan jasa, melakukan evaluasi dari divisi pengawakan setiap 3 (tiga) bulan sekali serta menjalin koordinasi yang lebih efektif dengan departemen keuangan dan akuntansi. The process of realizing petty cash is one of the ship's operational activities. However, the implementation has not been going well so it needs improvement. This study aims to determine the realization of the use of petty cash, the obstacles faced by the manning division, and the efforts to solve these problems. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of research data taken from primary and secondary data. Data obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the realization of petty cash was in accordance with the procurement method (imprest fund system), there were obstacles in the realization of petty cash, including incomplete purchase notes as proof of payment on board and late delivery of petty cash documents from the expedition. Efforts are being made to provide counseling to the captain to always complete petty cash documents as evidence of spending for goods and services, conduct evaluations from the manning division every 3 (three) months and establish more effective coordination with the finance and accounting departments.
