Abstract
Muhammad suryo baskoro, 2018, NIT: 50134850. N, “Optimalization Preparation For Discharge Of Cargo Oil Product To Prevent Back Pressure On Board Vessel MT.Pagerungan”, Program Study Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Mentor I: Capt. Rudy Susanto, M.Pd, Mentor II: Dr. Winarno, S.ST., M.H. Preparation for discharge of cargo oil product to prevent back pressure on MT. Pagerungan is not optimal. The purpose of the research conducted by the author is to know the factors causing the preparation of discharge, the impacts that occur due to the preparation of unnecessary discharge and knowing the effort to optimize the loading discharge preparation on board the MT. Pagerungan. The research method used by the author in conveying the problem is a qualitative descriptive method to describe and describe the object under study. Based on data obtained during the study as supporting the compilation of writing this thesis is using primary and secondary data. From the result of the research, the writer can conclude that the factors that cause the preparation of discharge is not optimal is not done meeting toolbox before the preparation of the discharge and lack of supervision in the implementation of the demolition preparation, the impact that occurs is the activity does not run in accordance with the plan made by the First Deck and every errors that occur can not be corrected by the work leader, the efforts made to prevent the not optimal preparation of dismantling is to carry out the re-line up and repair of unloading tools and job leadership must implement pre control, steering control, yes or no control and feedback control.
