Abstract
Tanjung Diwjatjita, 2017, NIT: 50134795. N, “Optimalitation Prowess Crew MV. Oriental Mutiara in Confront Eemergency Leakage” ”. Nautical Thesis, Diploma IV Program, Merchant Marine Polythecnic Semarang. Material Adviser (I): Capt. Agus Subardi, M, Mar. Methodologi and Writing Adviser(II): Agus Hendro Waskito, MM., M.Mar. E. The ability of crew are one important things on board in counter measure of emergency situation, the application a good emergency situation drill will improve the ability to counter measure emergency situation in proper way. In really when the real emergency situation the counter will unready because less of crew skill in encountermea training of leakage handling. The drill implement which not did as in schedule will cause the leakage handling won’t be optimal. The purpose oh this research is to know the cause uncountrolled leakage factor in a proper ways beside of that, thus research also have a purpose to know the training system and the effort which have to se applied tp optimal the skill in leakage counter measure in MV. Oriental Mutiara. This research done by choosing the problem though USG method then developed descriptively quantitative with describe abaout leakage factor, the application of leakage in MV. Oriental Mutiara and the effort to optimaliza the crew’s skill. Other than that the data collecting did by interview, obsernation, find documenting with take a picture when the leakage happen and implementation of the counter measure on board. Based on research result and can be conduded that the leakage factor cause of the broker equipment, human factor, and mechanical factor obtain trouble shooting that with ask leakage counter measure equipment to company, familiarization to all crew an asking for a good spare part. The training system which shall be done on board is with do the training according the schedule set by company. To make drill run optimal, so need an effect like ISM Code and doing drill according the schedule set by company, set the leakage drill plan, safety meeting and the company effort the control.
