Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Pradana, Erico Asta, 2020, NIT: 531611306202.K, “Analisis Keterlambatan Gaji Kru Yang Ditempatkan Oleh PT. Jasindo Duta Segara di Kapal Yang Dimiliki Ship Owner Grow-Will.Inc”, Program Studi Kalk, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Okvita Wahyuni,S.ST, M.M Pembimbing II: Latifa Ika Sari, S.Psi, M.Pd. Gaji merupakan hal yang sensitif dalam proses hubungan kru dengan perusahaan dan dapat menjadi pertimbangan seorang kru untuk bergabung dengan perusahaan tersebut. Keterlambatan pembayaran gaji sangat berpengaruh pada kinerja kru dan bisa menimbulkan persepsi yang kurang baik terhadap perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menjelaskan faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi terjadinya keterlambatan gaji kru yang ditempatkan oleh PT. Jasindo Duta Segara di kapal yang dimiliki Ship Owner Grow-Will.Inc, dampak yang timbul akibat terjadinya keterlambatan gaji kru tersebut, dan upaya yang dilakukan PT. Jasindo Duta Segara untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan pada penyusunan skripsi ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, studi kepustakaan, dokumentasi diambil dari perusahaan dan wawancara yang dilakukan dengan beberapa Manager perusahaan, Oiler dan Able Seaman yang ditempatkan di Ship Owner Grow-Will.Inc. Sehingga dari teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan akan didapatkan teknik keabsahan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian keterlambatan gaji kru disebabkan oleh adanya kejahatan cyber yang menerpa Ship Owner Grow-Will.Inc dan banyaknya permintaan kru kapal untuk sign off lebih awal. Dampak yang timbul akibat keterlambatan yaitu penolakan dari kru untuk dikirimkan bekerja di Ship Owner Grow-Will.Inc, menurunnya semangat kerja kru kapal, komplain dari keluarga kru perihal keterlambatan gaji. Upaya yang dilakukan PT. Jasindo Duta Segara untuk mengatasi keterlambatan gaji kru yaitu dengan memiliki konsultan IT (Informasi Teknologi), memberikan pinjaman kepada kru, dan menyampaikan keluhan dari kru tentang keterlambatan gaji kepada Ship Owner Grow-Will.Inc. Salary remain as one of a sensitive matter in crews relationship with a company. Salary is not the only factor a crew should weigh when evaluating a job offer but it is a significant concern for most them. Salary delays can affect crew work performance and most likely ruin the good image of the company in crews eyes. The purpose of this study is to explain what factors influence the delay payment of the crew issued by PT. Jasindo Duta Segara on a ship owned by Grow-Will.Inc Ship Owner, the impact arising from delayed payment of the crew being moved by PT. Jasindo Duta Segara on a ship that needs Grow-Will.Inc Ship Owners, and the efforts made by PT. Jasindo Duta Segara regarding the delay in receiving the crew. The research method used in writing this thesis is a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection techniques by observation, literature study, documentation taken from the company and interviews with some of the company managers, oiler and able seaman who placed in Grow-Will.Inc. The data used will be obtained validity engineering data. Based on the results of the study, there was a delay in crew payments arising from cyber attacks on Grow-Will.Inc Ship Owners, a large number of crew requests to sign off. The impact arising frim delay is the rejection from the crew to be sent work on Grow-Will.Inc, the decreasing of employes work ethic, complaints came from the crew's family regarding the delay in buying. Efforts made by PT. Jasindo Duta Segara to the delay in crew salaries namely by having an IT (Information Technology) consultant, giving loans to the crew, and giving a response from the crew about delayed payments to Grow-Will.Inc Ship Owners.
