Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Krisna Bayu, NIT. 521556355. N, 2020 “Peranan garbage management dalam pencegahan polusi di atas kapal MV.CTP FORTUNE”, Program Diploma IV, Nautika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I : Capt.Anugrah Nur Prasetyo, M.Si. Pembimbing II : Romanda Annas Amrulah, S.ST, M.M. Sampah atau garbage adalah salah satu objek yang menjadi perhatian diatas kapal terlebih dalam peletakan dan pengolahannya yang harus lebih diperhatikan diatas kapal. Semua kapal yang berukuran > 400 GT dan membawa 15 orang harus membawa Garbage Management Plan dan Garbage Record Book. Dalam pembahasan dalam skripsi ini penulis menganalisa peranan dan peningkatan peran para awak kapal untuk pengaplikasian garbage management yang baik sesuai dengan regulasi MARPOL 1973 ANNEX V. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah Deskriptif dengan Fishbone sebagai metode untuk menganalisis masalah dari data hasil wawancara dan metode Fault tree analysis sebagai metode untuk menganalisa akar penyebab terjadinya masalah. Upaya meningkatkan peranan para awak kapal di MV. CTP FORTUNE sesuai dengan MARPOL 1973 Annex V didapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi peranan para awak kapal yaitu prosedur, sistem dan peralatan. Setiap faktor telah ditemukan akar masalah dengan metode Fault Tree Analysis dan juga penyelesaian dari akar masalah tersebut, untuk penyelesaian dari akar masalah tersebut aspek yang dicakup adalah mengenai peningkatan kesadaran melalui sosialisasi , pembuatan regulasi baru yang bersifat internal dan juga perawatan dari peralatan pendukung, dan yang paling penting adalah pemahaman dari diri para awak kapal itu sendiri. Garbage management is a Waste Management Plan that is a complete guide consisting of written procedures for collecting, storing, processing and disposing of waste generated on board according to the regulations provided in Annex V MARPOL 1973. All ships measuring 400 GT and carrying 15 one should carry the Garbage Management Plan and Garbage Record Book. In the discussion in this thesis the authors analyze the role and role enhancement of the crew of the ship for the application of good garbage management in accordance with the regulation of MARPOL 1973. The research method used in this thesis is Descriptive with Fishbone as a method to analyze problems from interview data and Fault tree analysis method as a method to analyze the root cause of the problem. Efforts to improve the role of the crew in the MV. CTP FORTUNE in accordance with MARPOL 1973 ANNEX V obtained several factors that affect the role of ships, procedures, systems and equipment. Each factor has been found the root of the problem with the Fault Tree Analysis method and also the solution of the root problem, for the problem from the root of the problem the aspects covered are about raising awareness through socialization, making a new contract that is designed internally and also maintenance of supporting equipment, and which most important is the understanding of the crew itself.
