ABSTRAK Teguh Harjo Prakoso. (51145199 N), 2019, “Penanganan Pembongkaran Muatan Tangki II Melalui Tangki I Ketika Terjadi Kerusakan Cargo Pump Di Kapal MT. AE GAS”. Skripsi, Program Studi Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang. Pembimbing I : Capt. Eko Murdiyanto, M.Pd, M.Mar. Pembimbing II : Yustina Sapan S.ST.,M.M. Ketika terjadi kerusakan cargo pump saat proses bongkar maka pembongkaran muatan menjadi terhambat, untuk itu dilakukannya upaya penanganan sangatlah penting agar proses pembongkaran bisa berjalan kembali. Permasalahan yang dibahas pada skripsi ini adalah dilakukannya Penanganan pembongkaran muatan ketika terjadi kerusakan cargo pump dan langkah-langkah pencegahan kerusakan cargo pump. Metode peneitian yang digunakan adalah Fishbone, metode ini digunakan untuk menentukan faktor dari kegagalan suatu sistem yang berupa man, communication, machine, nature. Selanjutnya faktor yang sudah ditemukan akan dicari akar dan penyelesainnya menggunakan metode Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) untuk mengetahui upaya pencegahan dalam permasalahan ini. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan yaitu riset pustaka, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan cara penanganan pembongkaran muatan ketika terjadi kerusakan cargo pump yaitu dilakukannya transfer muatan dari tangki II ke tangki I di bantu dengan cargo compressor. Disamping itu hasil penelitian ini juga menemukan langkah-langkah pencegahan kerusakan cargo pump. Ada beberapa faktor yang mengakibatkan rusaknya cargo pump. Kerusakan yang terjadi pada komponen cargo pump dan tidak adanya suku cadang pengganti.Kurangnya pengetahuan dan pengawasan tentang pengoperasian cargo pump. Kurangnya koordinasi antara pihak kapal dengan pihak darat. Dan kondisi cuaca yang panas berkepanjangan. Peneliti menyimpulkan langkahlangkah yang dapat dilakukan antara lain yaitu dengan lebih meningkatkan kegiatan maintenance yang baik sesuai dengan prosedur dan selalu di siapkannya suku cadang pengganti agar kerusakan dapat di minimalisir. Kegiatan familisation tentang pengoperasian cargo pump harus dilakukan dengan lebih baik dan di laksanakan oleh Chief officer dan Chief engineer kepada crew deck maupun crew mesin. Deck water spray selalu dalam kondisi standby pada saat melaksanakan proses pembongkaran untuk berjaga-jaga jika sewaktu-waktu kondisi cuaca berubah menjadi sangat panas. Simpulan dari skripsi ini adalah Transfer muatan sangat efektif dilakukan agar pembongkaran muatan bisa berjalan kembali dan dapat meminimalisir kerugian perusahaan. Rusaknya komponen cargo pump dan tidak adanya suku cadang pengganti serta kurangnya koordinasi yang baik antara pihak kapal dan pihak darat dapat menghambat proses pembongkaran muatan. When the damage occurred during the process of discharging cargo pump then discharging become obstructed, for it does the handling is very important that the process of dismantling could run again. The problem discussed in this thesis is the handling of load disassembly when there is damage to the cargo pump and steps to prevent damage to the cargo pump. The research method used is Fishbone, this method is used to determine the factors of failure of a system in the form of man, communication, machine, and nature. Furthermore, the factors that have been found to be searched roots and its solution using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to assess prevention efforts in this matter. The data sources used are library research, interviews and documentation. The results of this study explains how to handle the discharging of the cargo pump when there is damage that is done the charge transfer from tank to tank II I was helped by cargo compressor. Besides that the results of this study also found steps to prevent damage to the cargo pump. There are several factors that cause damage to the cargo pump. Damage caused to the cargo pump components and the lack of spare parts. Lack of knowledge and supervision of the operation of the cargo pump. Lack of coordination between the ship and land parties. And hot weather conditions are prolonged. Researchers concluded the steps that can be done, among others, to further improve the good maintenance activities in accordance with the procedures and always in standby replacement parts so that the damage can be minimized. Familiarization activities regarding the operation of cargo pump should be done better and implemented by the chief officer and chief engineer to the crew deck and engine crew. Deck water spray always in standby condition when carrying out the process of dismantling a precaution if at any time the weather conditions turn out to be very hot. The conclusions of this paper is very effective load transfer is done so that the discharging can run back and be able to minimize the losses of the company. The damage to the cargo pump component and the absence of replacement parts and the lack of good coordination between the ship and the land side can hamper the process of unloading.
