Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Priyangga Aji Nugroho, NIT: 51145193N, 2019, “Analisis Terlepasnya Jangkar Kiri Pada Saat Open Break di MV. DK 01”. Skripsi Program Studi Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Capt. H. Moh. Aziz Rohman, M.M., M.Mar, Pembimbing II: Nur Rohmah, S.E, M.M. Jangkar berfungsi untuk menahan berat kapal agar tidak mudah goyah ketika sedang berlabuh. Pada tanggal 16 Februari 2017 pada saat MV. DK 01 sedang berolah gerak untuk persiapan berlabuh jangkar di anchorage area Pelabuhan Tanjung Intan, Cilacap, kapal tersebut kehilangan jangkar sebelah kiri setelah melaksanakan proses drop anchor dengan cara open break. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terlepasnya jangkar kiri pada saat open break di MV. DK 01 dan untuk mengetahui upaya yang perlu dilakukan setelah terlepasnya jangkar kiri pada saat open break tersebut agar proses berlabuh jangkar dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang dianalisis dengan metode fishbone analysis untuk menentukan masalah dari setiap faktor. Teknik analisa data dalam skripsi ini adalah USG (Urgency, Seriusness, Growth) untuk menentukan masalah yang menjadi prioritas utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terlepasnya jangkar kiri pada saat open break di MV. DK 01 yaitu kurangnya kesadaran crew kapal akan pentingnya proses berlabuh jangkar, pemilihan metode berlabuh jangkar yang kurang efektif dan pelaksanan proses berlabuh jangkar yang tidak sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada, kurangnya perawatan dan pengecekan terhadap peralatan berlabuh jangkar/mesin jangkar (windlass), kondisi lingkungan yang tidak mendukung dalam pelaksanaan proses berlabuh jangkar. Upaya yang perlu dilakukan setelah terlepasnya jangkar kiri pada saat open break tersebut agar proses berlabuh jangkar dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik adalah Second Officer sebagai perwira yang bertanggungjawab terhadap navigasi di MV. DK 01 langsung memplotting posisi jangkar kiri yang jatuh untuk menghindari jangkar kiri tersebut hilang dan Nahkoda sebagai pemimpin kapal langsung mengambil kebijakan utuk menggunakan jangkar kanan dalam proses labuh jangkar dengan metode yang berbeda, yaitu walk back ship anchoring method dimana jangkar kanan diturunkan dengan hati-hati menggunakan rem untuk menghindari kejadian yang sama ABSTRACT Priyangga Aji Nugroho, NIT: 51145193N, 2019, "Analysis of the Loss’ Left Anchor at the Open Break on MV. The anchor serves to hold the weight of the ship so it is not easily shaken when it is anchored. On February 16th, 2017 at the time of the MV. DK 01 is working on the preparations to anchor the anchor in the anchorage area of Tanjung Intan Port, Cilacap, the ship loses its left anchor after carrying out the drop anchor process by opening an open break. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that caused the release of the left anchor during the open break in the MV. DK 01 and to find out the effort that needs to be done after the release of the left anchor during the open break so that the anchor anchoring process can be carried out properly. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative which is analyzed by the method of fishbone analysis to determine the problem of each factor. Data analysis techniques in this mini thesis are USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) to determine the problem that is the top priority. The results showed that the factors that caused the loss left anchor during the open break in the MV. DK 01 is the lack of awareness of the crew of the ship on the importance of anchor anchoring, the selection of anchor anchoring methods that are less effective and the anchoring process of anchors that are not in accordance with existing procedures, lack of maintenance and checking of anchor / windlass equipment, environmental conditions which does not support the implementation of anchor anchoring processes. The effort that needs to be done after the release of the left anchor during the open break so that the anchor anchoring process can be carried out properly is the Second Officer as the officer responsible for navigation in the MV. DK 01 immediately plotted the position of the falling left anchor to avoid the left anchor disappearing and the Master as the ship's leader immediately took the policy to use the right anchor in anchoring process with a different method, namely walk back ship anchoring method where the right anchor was carefully lowered use brakes to avoid the same incident.
