Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Rifqi Fadillah Azil , 2019 NIT : 52155843.T, ”Analisis kerusakan oily water separator terhadap proses pemisahan limbah got pada kapal MT. Navigator Pluto”, skripsi program Studi Teknika, Program Diploma IV. Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, pembimbing I: H. Rahyono,SP.1, MM, M.Mar.E, Pembimbing II: Darul Prayoga, M.Pd Pesawat oily water separator adalah suatu alat yang berfungsi untuk memisahkan air dan minyak. Pentingnya pesawat oily water separator guna memenuhi persyaratan internasional yang sesuai dengan MARPOL 73 / 78 untuk mencegah terjadinya pencemaran air laut yang disebabkan pembuangan limbah got oleh kapal yang dapat membahayakan kehidupan lingkungan laut beserta ekosistemnya, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk dapat mengetahui jenis perawatan dan pengoperasian yang baik pada pesawat oily water separator sehinga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja dari oily water separator pada saat proses pembuangan limbah got diatas kapal MT. Navigator Pluto sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya pencemaran air laut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Fault tree analysis dan fishbone dimana terdapat suatu kejadian yang tidak diinginkan disebut undersiredevent terjadi pada sistem. Metode yang digunakan adalah pohon kesalahan mengumpulkan metode analisis. Hal ini dapat membantu kita mencari akar permasalah dengan pohon kesalahan dan cara dasar berpikir logis untuk membantu kami menentukan dasar dari permasalahan itu sendiri. Metode fishbone karena bentuknya menyerupai kerangka tulang ikan yang bagiannya menyerupai kepala dan tulang ikan. Penyebab permasalahan digambarkan pada sirip dan durinya. Hasil penelitian bahwa terdapar faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan oily water separator tidak dapat melakukan proses pemisahan dikarenakan permasalahan pada oil content meter, filter media dan pompa oily water separator, tidak dalam kondosi yang baik yang harus dilakukan perbaikan pada komponen dan alat-alat tersebut. Dampak yang diakibatkan adalah oily water separator tidak dapat memisahkan minyak dari air. How important it is for an oily water separator to meet international requirements in accordance with MARPOL 73/78 to prevent the occurrence of seawater pollution caused by sewage disposal by ships which can endanger the life of the marine environment and its ecosystem, the purpose of this study is to be able to know the type of maintenance and operation which is good on oily water separator aircraft so that it can improve the working ability of oily water separators during the process of removing sewage waste on the vessel MT Navigator Pluto so that it can prevent sea water pollution. The method used by researchers is a fault tree analysis and fishbone where there is an unwanted event called undersiredevent that occurs in the system. The method used is an error tree collecting analysis methods. This can help us find the root of the problem with the fault tree and the basic way of logical thinking to help us determine the basis of the problem it self. Fishbone method because of its shape resembling the skeleton of a fish bone whose parts resemble the head and bone of a fish. The cause of the problem is described on the fins and thorns. The results of the study conducted a study that there are factors that cause oily water separator not to function properly. The results of the study show that the factors that cause oily water separator cannot carry out the separation process due to problems in the oil content meter, filter media and oil separator water pump, are not in good conduction which must be repaired on the components and tools.
