Abstract

ABSTRAKSI I Kadek Andika Praditya, 2019, NIT : 52155622.N, "Optimalisasi Pelaksanaan Crude Oil Washing Untuk mengurangi Sludge Pada Tanki Muatan di MT. Sanana", skripsi Program Studi Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Agus Subardi, Pembimbing II: Suherman. Crude oil washing adalah proses pembilasan tangki muatan minyak mentah dengan sisa muatan minyak mentah tersebut yang dipanaskan, dimana fungsi crude oil washing adalah membersihkan dan melarutkan endapan-endapan minyak mentah sehingga mengembalikan tangki ke keadaan sebelum muat. Dari uraian tersebut, masalah yang dapat disimpulkan adalah bagaimana upaya untuk menanggulangi kendala-kendala yang sering dihadapi dalam melaksanakan crude oil washing di MT. Sanana. Sehubungan dengan apa yang pernah dialami penulis sewaktu melaksanakan praktek laut di kapal latih. Dalam pelaksanaan pembilasan tangki dilakukan tahap demi tahap dan harus sesuai dengan ketentuan serta prosedur crude oil washing yang berlaku. Pelaksanaan crude oil washing yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur dan didukung oleh peralatan crude oil washing yang memadai serta terawat juga merupakan salah satu faktor pendukung untuk kelancaran proses pelaksanaan crude oil washing. Dalam skripsi ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Metode deskriptif merupakan metode penelitian terhadap masalah-masalah berupa fakta- fakta. Data yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yaitu menekankan pada pemahaman mengenai masalah-masal ah dikapal berdasarkan kondisi realitas yang ada. Dalam penelitian yang penulis lakukan, kegagalan yang terjadi di atas kapal MT. Sanana lebih sering disebabkan karena kurang diperhatikannya prosedur pembilasan tangki yang telah ditetapkan sesuai dengan jenis muatannya, kurangnya koordinasi antar personil tim dengan Nakhoda selaku penanggung jawab serta terbatasnya peralatan pendukung dalam pelaksanaan pembilasan tangki. Sehingga ketidak efisienan waktu yang ditimbulkan dapat menyebabkan kerugian perusahaan yang jumlahnya tidak sedikit. Dari analisa yang telah dilakukan akan dapat memberikan suatu penyelesaian atau pemecahan masalah terhadap masalah-masalah yang dihadapi. Pada akhir akan ditarik beberapa kesimpulan tentang pelaksanaan pembilasan tangki dengan benar serta akan diberikan saran - saran atau langkah- langkah untuk menghindari masalah yang mungkin timbul, sehingga diharapkan proses pembilasan tangki di kapal dapat dilaksanakan secara aman, cepat, tepat, efisien dan hasilnya sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. From the description, it can be concluded that the problem is how the efforts to overcome the obstacles encountered in implementing crude oil washing in MT. Sanana. In connection with the author's experiences while implementing sea project on MT. Sanana. In the implementation of tank cleaning with step by step and must be in accordance with the provisions and procedures applicable crude oil washing. Implementation of the crude oil washing is carried out in accordance with the procedures and supported by crude oil washing equipment is adequate and well maintained is also one of the supporting factors for the smooth implementation of the process of crude oil washing. In this paper the author uses descriptive research method. Descriptive method is a method of research to problems in the form of facts. The data used is qualitative emphasis on the understanding of the problems of ship based on the conditions existing realities. The research conducted by the author, the failure that occurred on board MT. Sanana is more often caused by lack of attention to the tank cleaning procedure which has been established in accordance with the type of content, the lack of coordination among the personnel of the team with the skipper as a responsible and limited hardware support in the implementation of the tank cleaning. So that inefficiencies caused time can cause loss of the company that amount is not small. From the analysis that has been done will be able to provide a solution or solutions to the problems faced. At the end will be drawn some conclusions about the implementation of the tank cleaning properly and will be given suggestions or measures to avoid problems that might arise, so expect the process of cleaning the tank on the ship can be carried out safely, quickly, accurately, efficiently and results in accordance with which are expected.
