Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Fahri Maulana Normansyah, 2019, NIT : 52155619.N, “Pengaruh pelaksanaan Saturday routine test life boat rescue terhadap peningkatan keselamatan di kapal kontainer”, skripsi Program Studi Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing Materi (I): Capt. Arika Palapa, M.Si, M.Mar., Pembimbing Metodologi dan Penulisan (II): Dr. Riyanto, SE, M.Pd. Suatu keadaan darurat biasanya terjadi sebagai akibat tidak bekerjanya secara normal suatu sistem, baik secara prosedural ataupun karena gangguan alam. Mempersiapkan alat-alat untuk mengatasi keadaan darurat harus dilakukan secara teratur, agar saat terjadi kejadian yang sesungguhnya, diharapkan awak kapal akan menjadi lebih terampil dan terbiasa serta peralatan yang dapat digunakan dalam penanggulangan keadaan darurat selalu dalam kondisi yang baik dan siap pakai. Dan di dalam buku Safety Of Life At Sea (SOLAS) 1974 Consolidated Edition 2014, rescue boat adalah sebuah sekoci yang dirancang untuk menyelamatkan orang yang sedang mengalami keadaan darurat. Dalam chapter III tentang LSA (Life-saving appliances) Regulation 10 tentang peluncuran, pelepasan perahu keselamatan serta perawatan mengharuskan setiap kapal dapat meluncurkan sekoci penolong dalam waktu sesingkat mungkin. Mengingat sangat pentingnya penggunaan rescue boat, maka perawatan berkala harus selalu di jalankan. Dan di dalam penelitian ini penulis membahas tentang perawatan dan pengaruh pelaksanaan saturday routine test rescue boat, pada penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode SPSS, peneliti berusaha untuk memaparkan hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh baik itu secara langsung dari wawancara dan observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti selama melaksanakan penelitian di kapal maupun berdasarkan referensi dari bukubuku terkait. Masalah utama akibat tidak dilaksanakannya Saturday routine test rescue boat terdapat pada manusianya atau SDM yang kurang memahami akan pentingnya rescue boat serta pelaksanaan Saturday routine test rescue boat, sehingga timbul akibat-akibat tidak dilaksanakannya Saturday routine test rescue boat. Salah satu akibatnya adalah rusaknya alat-alat yang ada pada rescue boat, serta banyak dampak lain yang ditimbulkannya. Mengingat pentingnya Saturday routine test rescue boat di kapal, maka masalah ini harus segera di atasi dan pada akhir bagian skripsi penulis menyajikan kesimpulan dan saran. An emergency situation ussualy occurs as a result of the non-functioning of a system, either procedurally or by natural disruption. Preparing tools for emergency relief should be carried out regularly, so that in the event of a real event, it is expected that crew will become more skilled and accustomed and the equipment that can be used in emergency relief is always in good condition and ready to use. And in the book of Safety Life At Sea (SOLAS) 1974 Consolidated Edition 2014, Rescue boat is a designed to save people in emergenciy situation. In a chapter III on LSA (Life-saving appliances) Regulation 10 on launch, the safety boat discharge as well as maintenance requires each ship to launch a Rescue Boat in the shortest possible time. Given the very importance of the use of the rescue boat, then regular maintenance must always be on the run.
