Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Farhan Afrisal Herdawan, NIT. 52155738.T, 2019 “Identifikasi Terjadinya Kecelakaan Kerja Crew Kapal Bagian Mesin Pada MV. Teluk Bintuni”, Program Diploma IV, Teknika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Agus Hendro waskito, M.M, M.Mar.E dan Pembimbing II: R.A.J. Susilo Hadi Wibowo, S.IP, M.M. Kecelakaan merupakan suatu kejadian yang tidak terduga, semula tidak dikehendaki yang mengacaukan proses yang telah di atur dari suatu aktifitas dan dapat menimbulkan kerugian baik bagi manusia maupun harta benda, kecelakaaan kerja terjadi karena beberapa faktor yaitu faktor manusia (man), faktor alat pengaman (equipment), serta faktor lingkungan(environment). Metode yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode fishbone analysis dan fault tree analysis sebagai metode untuk menentukan faktor permasalahan dan event-event yang ada pada permasalahan. Adapun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah faktor apa yang menyebabkan Terjadinya kecelakaan kerja crew kapal bagian mesin, apa dampak yang ditimbulkan, dan apa upaya yang dilakukan terhadap masalah yang ada. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penyebab Terjadinya kecelakaan kerja crew kapal bagian mesin berdasarkan metode fishbone analysis dan fault tree analysis adalah kondisi dari alat pengaman serta lambatnya respon perusahaan terhadap permintaan alat pengaman yang di ajukan crew kapal. Sedangkan dampak yang terjadi menurut metode fishbone analysis dan fault tree analysis adalah terganggunya proses maintenance yang sedang berlangsung, cidera yang dialami crew, serta kerugian yang akan di tanggung oleh perusahaan. Upaya untuk mengatasi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja crew kapal bagian mesin adalah dengan melakukan pengecekan terhadap alat pengaman, tool box meeting sebelum memulai pekerjaan, dan peremajaan terhadap alat pelindung diri, serta pembinaan dan pelatihan terhadap crew mesin tentang pentingnya keselamatan kerja. As for the formulation of the problem from research are what factors cause the engine crew work accident on ship, what the impact is, and what efforts made to the problems that exist Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the cause of the ship engine crew work accident based on the fishbone analysis method and fault tree analysis was the condition of the safety device as well as the company's slow response to the demand for safety equipment submitted by the crew. While the impact that occurs according to the fishbone analysis method and fault tree analysis were the disruption of the ongoing maintenance process, injuries suffered by the crew, and losses that would be borne by the company. Efforts to overcome the occurrence of work crews on ship crew on machine parts were by checking safety devices, meeting tool boxes before starting work, and rejuvenating personal protective equipment, as well as coaching and training crew engineers about the importance of work safety.
