Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Candra Pratama, NIT : 51145405.T, 2018, “Analisis kerugian bahan bakar MDO pada saat bunker di MV. Tamasek Attaka”, skripsi Program Studi Teknika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: H.Irwan., S.H.,M.Pd., M.Mar.E, Pembimbing II: Budi Joko Raharjo, M.M Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membahas hal-hal yang menyebabkan terjadinya kerugian bahan bakar pada saat bunker diatas kapal,bahan bakar merupakan salah satu bahan pokok untuk kapal yang memiliki peranan sangat penting untuk pengoperasian kapal. Kegunaan dari bahan bakar di atas adalah untuk mendukung pengoperasian kapal dan mesin generator dalam menghasilkan kelistrikan yang ada di kapal, sehingga pengoperasian kapal dapat berjalan dengan baik. Dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan metode SHEL dan USG, dimana metode ini adalah untuk mencari sebab-akibat dari permasalahan dan mengambil beberapa faktor yang lebih dominan untuk dianalisa menggunakan USG untuk mencari permasalahan dan bagaimana mengatasinya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penyebab kerugian dalah rusaknya alat sounding bahan bakar atau sounding tape, rusaknya alat sounding bahan bakar dapat berdampak buruk terhadap proses bunker bahan bakar. Ini ditandai dengan tidak normalnya proses sounding bahan bakar pada tanki bahan bakar yang mengakibatkan kurang tepatnya penghitungan volume bahan bakar yang ada di dalam tanki bahan bakar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas adalah selalu memperhatikan alat-alat yang ada di atas kapal dan dengan mengganti alat sounding bahan bakr atau yang sering di sebut dengan sounding tape, selain itu crew kapal harus selalu memperhatikan perawatan alat-alat yang ada di kapal supaya alat yang ada di atas kapal tidak cepat mengalami kerusakan, crew kapal juga harus selalu memperhatikan perhitungan saat proses sounding untuk mengurangi kesalahan penghitungan bahn bakar pada saat akan melaksanakan proses bunker. Budi Joko Raharjo, M.M The purpose of this study is to discuss the things that cause the lose of fuel when the bunker is on board, fuel is one of the steples for ships that have a very important role for the operation of the ship. The use of the fuel above is to support the operation of ships and generator engines in producing elektricity that is on board, so that the operation of the ship can run well. In this case the wrinter uses the SHEL and USG method, were method is to look for the causes of problems and take saveral more donimant factors to be analized using USG to find problems and how to over come them. The results obtained from this studi indicate thet the cause of the damage to the fuel sounding device or tape sounding, the damage to the fuel sounding toll can adversely affect the fuel bunker process. This is indicated by the abnormality of the fuel sounding process on the fuel tank which results in an incorrect calculation of the volume of fuel in the fuel tank. To overcome the above problems, always pay attention to the tools that are on board and by replacing the sounding material, or what is often called a tape sounding besides that the crew must always pay attention to the maintenance of the equipment on board so thet the existing tools on board the ship is not quickly damaged, the crew calculation during the sounding process to reduce the eror calculation fuel when going to carry out the bunker process.
