Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Agus Mustaqim, 2019, NIT: 51145337. T, “Analisa Terbakarnya Magnetic Contactor Pada Starter Panel Fresh Water Pump Hydrophore di MT. PERLA”, skripsi Progam Studi Teknika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: ABDI SENO, M.Si., M.Mar.E, Pembimbing II: PURWANTONO, S.Psi, M.Pd. Magnetic contactor adalah peralatan atau komponen listrik yang bekerja berdasarkan prinsip induksi electromagnetic. Bekerjanya magnetic contactor saat dialiri tegangan, magnetic contactor sebagai kontrol pada permesinan bantu hydrophore, dimana pendukung oprasional kapal dengan prinsip kerja mengunakan udara bertekanan yang akan menekan air didalam tangki hydrophore untuk mendistribusikan air tawar ke seluruh bagian kapal yang akan digunakan kegiatan, seperti; membersihkan akomodasi kapal, memasak dan untuk mandi. Diketahui kerja dari permesinan bantu fresh water pump hydrophore yang tidak kostan, sering start-stop sesuai tekanan yang harus tercapai, akan terbaca oleh detektor tekanan yang dioprasikan secara auto. Adanya kerusakan magnetic contactor akan mempengaruhi kerja dari fresh water pump hydrophore. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penyampaian masalah adalah dengan gabungan metode SHEL (Softwere, Hardwere, Environment, Livewere) untuk mengidentifikasi masalah yang diteliti, dengan metode USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) untuk mendapatkan prioritas rumusan masalah berupa faktor penyebab, dampak dan upaya, terbakarnya magnetic contactor pada starter panel fresh water pump hydrophore. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis di kapal MT. PERLA pada tanggal pada 15 Agustus 2016 sampai dengan 20 November 2017 dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyebab terbakarnya magnetic contactor pada starter panel fresh water pump hydrophore dari kategori software berupa kurang teraturnya proses permintaan suku cadang, kategori hardware berupa kondisi bearing shaft pompa yang rusak, kategori environment berupa kelembaban yang berlebih pada magnetic contactor, kategori lifeware berupa keterampilan crew kapal kurang. Dampak yang terjadi kerusakan permesinan bantu yang mendadak, over heat pada elektomotor, meningkatkan laju korosi, serta penanganan masalah yang buruk. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah memperbaruhi data spare part invetory dan melakukan permintaan suku cadang dengan mengunakan CMMS, melakukan tindakan perawatan yang tidak direncanakan, menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekitar mesin, dan belajar tentang aspek yang belum diketahui. Magnetic contactors are equipment or electrical components that work on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The magnetic contactor works when it is electrified, magnetic contactor as a control in hydrophore auxiliary machine, where the operational support of the vessel with the working principle uses pressurized air which will press water in the hydrophore tank to distribute fresh water to all parts of the vessel that will be used, such as; cleaning boat accommodation, cooking and for bathing. It is known that the work of the auxiliary machinery of fresh water pump hydrophore which is not boarding, often start-stop according to the pressure that must be reached, will be read by a pressure detector which is operated automatically. The damage to the magnetic contactor will affect the work of the fresh water pump hydrophore. The research method used by the author in delivering the problem is by combining the SHEL method (Software, Hardware, Environment, Livewere) to identify the problem under study, by method USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) to get priority formulation of problems in the form of factors causing, impact and effort, burning magnetic contactor on starter panel fresh water pump hydrophore. Based on the results of research conducted by the author on the MT ship. PERLA on August 15, 2016 to November 20, 2017, it can be concluded that the cause of the burning magnetic contactors in the water pump hydrophore starter panels fore the software category in the form of irregular parts request process, hardware category in the form of damaged pump bearing shaft condition, environmental category in the form of excessive moisture on the magnetic contactor, lifeware category in the form of lack of crew skills. The impact of sudden machine failure, overheat the electromagnetic, increase the rate of corrosion, and handle a bad problem. Efforts are made to updating inventory spare part data and requesting spare parts using CMMS, carrying out unplanned maintenance actions, maintaining cleanliness of the environment around the machine, and learning about aspects that have not known.
