Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Octavianus Avien Diptera, 2019, NIT: 51145161. N, “Optimalisasi Perawatan Wire Pada Hatch Cover Jenis Hidrolik Guna Menunjang Pemuatan Batu Bara di Kapal MV. JK Boryeong”,Skripsi Program Studi Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Capt. Dwi Antoro MM,M.Mar dan Pembimbing II: Ir. Fitri Kensiwi. MV. JK Boryeong adalah tempat dimana penulis melaksanakan prala dan melakukan penelitian. Saat proses muat bongkar batu bara, masih terdapat kendala yang menyebabkan proses muat bongkar menjadi lambat. Hal ini disebebabkan karena saat akan membuka hatch cover terjadi kesalahan pengoperasian yang mengakibatkan jatuhnya hatch cover dari jalur buka tutupnya, terjadi kebocoran pada jack cylinder dan putusnya wire hatch cover. Wire pada hatch cover adalah alat bantu angkat dan tarik yang terbuat dari kawat baja, alat ini sangat penting dalam menunjang pemuatan. Wire pada hatch cover di kapal MV. JK Boryeong memiliki sistem kerja hidrolik, sistem sederhana, akan tetapi apabila terjadi kerusakan pada wire tersebut, dampak yang ditimbulkan sangat besar. Pada MV. Boryeong terjadi kerusakan pada wire hatch cover yang mengakibatkan tidak dapat terbukanya hatch cover karena kurang optimalnya perawatan. Untuk menemukan faktor penyebab tidak optimalnya perawatan wire hatch cover peneliti menggunakan metode fishbone dan untuk menentukan permasalahan prioritas peneliti menggunakan FTA (fault tree analysis). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab tidak optimalnya perawatan wire hatch cover karena banyak ABK yang tidak memahami prosedur perawatan wire, perusahaan kurang peduli dengan spare part untuk perawatan kapal, dan faktor cuaca extrim yang tidak dapat dihindari. Dengan prioritas masalah yaitu perawatan tidak didukung dengan spare part yang sesuai. Pihak kapal menunjukan kepeduliannya untuk perawatan wire hatch cover di kapal dengan melakukan pemesanan spare part ke perusahaan pemilik kapal. Serta pemberian edukasi kepada seluruh crew tentang perawatan wire hatch cover dan pengoperasiannya yang sesuai prosedur. Pengecekan kondisi wire hatch cover sebaiknya dilakukan secara rutin oleh perwira kapal yang bertanggung jawab yaitu Mualim I. ABSTRACTION Octavianus Avien Diptera, 2019, NIT: 51145161. Dwi Antoro MM,M.Mar and 2nd Guide : Ir. Fitri Kensiwi. MV. JK Boryeong is a Vessel where the cadet doing sea project and make an observation. There are detention when the vessel is loading coal make the loading progress delay. Because when the crew is trying to open the hatch cover, the hatch cover was fall down from the track, leaking at the cylinder jack and wire hatch cover is broken. Wire on hatch cover is used for assist equipment when lifting and pulling which made from steel wire, this equipment is very important to support the loading progress. Wire on hatch cover in MV. JK Boryeong is hydrolic system, a simple system, but if there is a damage in that wire, will comes a tremendous impact. On MV. Boryeong there is a damage on wire hatch cover which caused hatch cover couldn't be opened because of not optimal maintance on wire. To find the causing factors of not optimal wire hatch cover maintance, writer use fishbone method and to find the priority problem, writer use FTA method (fault tree analysis). The result of the research indicate that the cause of not optimal wire hatch cover maintance because of many crew which didn't understand the procedure maintance of wire hatch cover. The company in spite of with spare part for ship maintenance, and extreme weather factor which can't be avoid. With priority matter that maintance not supported by the proper spare part. The ship side show his attention for wire hatch cover maintance in ship with do the order of spare part to the company of ship owner. And also giving education to all crew about wire hatch cover and how to operate with its proper operation. The routinity condition check of wire hatch cover prefer do routinely by ship’s officer which responsible is 1st Officer.
