Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Arief Fuadi, 2019, NIT : 51145432.T, “Analisa kebocoran pada jacket cooling fresh water main engine di MT. SAAMIS ADVENTURER”, Program Studi Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Dr. EKO NUGROHO WIDJATMOKO, M.M, Pembimbing II: VEGA FONSULA ANDROMEDA, S.ST., S.Pd., M.Hum. Jacket cooling fresh water merupakan salah satu permesinan bantu dan peralatan penting yang ada di atas kapal. Jacket cooling berfungsi sebagai selimut silinder liner yang didalamnya berupa air tawar dengan temperatur tertentu yang digunakan untuk menyerap panas yang dihasilkan oleh pembakaran didalam silinder. Sebuah penukar panas jenis multitubular digunakan untuk menghilangkan panas dari pendingin. Jacket cooling. Salah satu bagian penting adalah oring connecting jacket yang berfungsi sebagai perekat antara jacket cooling dengan cylinder head agar air pendingin dapat bersirkulasi dalam melakukan pendinginan mesin induk. Setelah dilakukan penelitian menggunakan metode Hazop dan USG (Urgency, Seriusness dan Growth). Penyebab kebocoran pada jacket cooling fresh water adalah kerusakan pada komponen-komponen sistem pendingnan tertutup adalah, pipa, air tawar, pompa, oring connecting jacket. Hasil penelitian mengacu pada kerusakan salah satu komponen tersebut yaitu oring connecting jacket, hal ini mengakibatkan pendingin air tawar keluar dari sistem pendinginan tertutup. Oleh karena itu perawatan dan perbaikan yang teratur dan sistematis pada komponen-komponen tersebut terutama oring connecting jacket sangat mutlak diperlukan agar sistem pendinginan tertutup bekerja optimal. Jacket cooling fresh water is one of the auxiliary machinery and equipment it is important that there is on board. Jacket cooling serves as a blanket cylinder liner which is inside in the form of fresh water with a certain temperature which is used to absorb the heat generated by combustion in the cylinder. A multitubular heat exchanger type used to dissipate heat from the refrigerant. Jacket cooling One important part is the oring connecting jacket that serves as an adhesive between the cooling jacket with the cylinder head so that the cooling water can circulate in the conduct of the parent engine cooling. After the research is done using methods of Hazop and ultrasound (Urgency, Seriusness and Growth). The cause of the leak in fresh water cooling jacket is damage to the components of the closed cooling system, fresh water, pipes, pumps, oring connecting jacket. The research refers to damage to one of the components namely oring connecting jacket, this results in cooling fresh water out of the closed cooling system. Therefore maintenance and repair are regularly and systematically on these components primarily oring connecting jacket very is absolutely necessary in order for a closed cooling system works optimally. All of that will be the author discussed in this thesis.
