Abstract
Moch. Tarom, 2017, NIT : 49124578.T. “Analysis of declining employment in the Reliquefaction plant working change the gas into a liquid cargo in MT Gas Komodo”, thesis Technic Studies Program , Program Diploma IV, Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic, Supervisor I : Achmad Wahyudiono, M.M., Supervisor II : H. Suharso, S.H., S.P.d., S.E., M.M. LPG cargo is cargo that has special characteristics, one of them highly flamable nature. To cope with danger posed by LPG cargo evaporates, it needs Reliquefaction plant operation. Operation of this system as the efforts has made to overcome obstacles in order to maintain a fixed charge on the LPG liquid state. Thus the authors formulate the problem formulation 1) what are the factors causing the decline of Reliquefaction plant working in change the gas into a liquid cargo, 2) What efforts are made to maximize Reliquefaction plan. Fault tree analysis is a technique used to identify risks that contribute to the occurrence of a failure. This method is carried out with an approach that is top down, starting with the assumption of failure or loss of peak incidence then detailing causes a peak incidence reached a basic failure. Based on the results of research by the author to the decline in employment Reliquefaction plant in turning gas into a liquid cargo is dirty condensers, cooling of the intercooler not optimal cooling, valve positioners are not working properly.Meanwhile, efforts to maximize employment Reliquefaction plant is checking routine cleaning of the condenser appropriate working hours, checking the intercooler, valve positioner checks on a regular basis.
