Infestation in the field Maritime is increasingly widespread over time and the needs of sea transportation, along with that, the parties - those who work in the maritime field is required to work with the maximum included machinist who was on board. Machinist should have responbility towards the machinery on board as supporting the smooth operation of each machinist kapal. oleh therefore has a responbility in terms of the smooth working of the machinery, in this discussion of food refrigerating machine has a very important role, is used to store foodstuffs during the voyage in order not damaged / rotten. The purpose of this study was to determine the steps - steps and action to overcome or prevent a decline in the performance of the engine coolant makanan. Di the wrtiting method will be explained about the systematics of writing that is used to answer questions in the formulation of the problem. Methods used include: location/place of research, the necessary data, methods of data collection and data analysis techniques. While the problem analysis and discussion, the authors will describe and explain the problem formulation that is why they did not achieve the desired temperature of the cooling chamber. Finally coclusions and suggestions were given on the importance of understanding to identify and correct problems that arise in accordance with instruction manual book.
