Abstract
ABSTRACT A diesel engine is an energy converter that converts chemically bound fuel energy into mechanical energy (effective work) by supplying heat. This type of research is quantitative using the SWOT method and SPSS test. This research aims to see the effect of maintenance, spare parts and fuel on diesel engine performance. In the SPSS method, researchers used a questionnaire with 73 cadets as a way of collecting data, and carried out a multiple linear regression test using SPSS. The population in this study was 83 semester VIII PIP Semarang cadets and a sample of 73 semester VIII PIP Semarang cadets was obtained. The results of this research are coefficient of determination tests carried out on all factors X1, X2 and so that there is an influence of maintenance (X1), spare parts (X2), and fuel (X3) on the performance of the Diesel Generator Engine (Y), indicating that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
