Abstract
Supriyanto,2018, NIT: 50134949.T,“inert gas treatment in preventing safeti distraction during loading and unloading at MT. Green stars”thesis SWOT Method,Diploma IV Program, Technic, Merchant Marine PolythecnicSemarang, Advicer I: Sarifuddin,M.Pd.,M.Mar.E andAdvicerII: Capt.Samsul Huda, MM, M.Mar. Inert gas is an auxiliary aircraft that produces inert gas to reduce risk on board a tenker. This tool is made based on surve from the vessel ship which often occurs the occasional fire or explosive tanker firing of the IMO therefore make the auxiliary plane so that all the tanker does not happen things that are not in want by all crew and companies that use tengker ship Given the importance of such auxiliary aircraft then we crew should know and understand the usability and operating procedures of the SOP, and all who are in the cruiser must have a certificate about the ship from the shipping campus should have learning about the ship so that everyone knows it fire because there is a triangular fire and one of its deterrents is to reduce oxygen by adding carbon dioxide or inert gas, when carbon dioxide is sufficient will not occur fire or explosion in tankage By implementing the procedure, it is hoped that the inert gas operational system can be implemented properly and according to SOP, so that the chance of failure is small and can't happen so that the loading and unloading activities run smoothly. The shipping company is satisfied and safe as expected by all the crew, section of the author's thesis presents conclusions and suggestions.
