Ilham Ashari, M.M., M.M Supervisor II: Okvita Wahyuni, S.ST, MM In order for the transport of goods from the port of loading to the port of loading can be timely in accordance with the schedule that has been predicted, then in carrying out the loading and unloading of care is one important factor that the loading process runs smoothly. Based on these facts the authors are interested in creating a thesis titled "Influence of Loading & Unloading Equipment Care Routine Activity Against Smoothness Stevedoring in MV. ALFA TRANS SATU”. In carrying out loading and unloading equipment maintenance there are some problems faced are: Treatment loading and unloading equipment unfavorable consequences for unloading equipment damage muat.dan Influence of loading and unloading equipment maintenance are not good for the smooth loading and unloading activities in pelabuhan.Sesuai with the problems faced in the treatment acted upon loading and unloading equipment appears temporary answer to the problem that was raised, including: alleged that the interference experienced by means of unloading the vessel MV. ALFA TRANS SATU caused by the lack of care as well as loading and unloading equipment is suspected that the interference experienced by loading and unloading equipment onboard MV. ALFA TRANS SATU can hinder the loading and unloading process. In this thesis, the research method used is a method that is both observational ie by observing the existing activities and interview methods of conducting interviews directly to the crew on the loading and unloading equipment and maintenance.Based on the analysis that the loading and unloading equipment maintenance can not be carried out on a regular basis, resulting in frequent occurrence of damage to the loading and unloading equipment that is of course the process loads too or demolition be delayed and disrupted. This is because the equipment that support the implementation of loading and unloading equipment maintenance is inadequate so that the work crew a matter of time less than the maximum and not shared because of frequent ship perform loading and unloading operations make crew is always busy with the operation of the ship is more important. From the analysis in question, it can be concluded that the loading and unloading equipment must be treated regularly such as by using a method of treatment. Loading and unloading equipment maintenance methods mentioned above must be implemented properly and regularly in accordance with the schedule that has been programmed, so that the damage to the loading and unloading equipment can be avoided and the tool is ready for use for unloading and loading process.
