Abstract

NIT. 52155754T, 2020 "Optimalisasi perawatan clamshell electro hydraulic grab guna mendukung kelancaran proses bongkar muat di MV.KT 02", Diploma IV Program, Teknika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: F.Pambudi Widiatmaka,S.ST.,M.T. dan Pembimbing II: Yustina Sapan,S.ST.,MM Pelaksanaan bongkar muat yang sering mengalami keterlambatan. Penyebab terjadinya keterlambatan dalam proses bongkar muat dikarenakan kerusakan pada clamshell electro hydraulic grab akibat tidak optimalnya perawatan. Peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan mencari apa saja penyebab tidak optimalnya perawatan dan bagaimana cara mengatasinyaBerdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan diatas kapal dengan menggunakan data-data yang ada dan melihat situasi di lapangan, maka penulis mendapatkan gambaran mengenai materi diatas beserta kendala-kendalanya dalam menunjang pengoperasian kapal terutama mengenai alat bongkar muat (clamshell electro hydraulic grab) untuk mencari penyelesaian masalah terhadap penyebab kurang maksimalnya fungsi clamshell electro hydraulic grab yang megakibatkan terganggunya proses bongkar muat di MV. KT 02. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode fishbone. Sumber data yang dikumpulkan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini diperoleh dari sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan dan penarikan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, studi pusaka dan studi dokumentasi.Dari hasil penelitian yang penulis lakukan, maka ditemukan faktor-faktor penyebab kurang optimalnya perawatan clamshell electro hydraulic grab antara lain : perawatan yang tidak sesuai prosedure.clamshell electro hydraulic grab yang sudah tua mengakibatkan sering terjadi kerusakan seperti pipa hight pressure yang bocor, joint point conector yang berkarat, terbakarnya elektro motor, serta tidak tersedianya spare part. Tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi agar clamshell electro hydraulic grab berfungsi secara maksimal yaitu melakukan perawatan secara berkala, tersedianya spare part. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yaitu melakukan perawatan clamshell electro hydraulic grab secara terjadwal serta tersedianya spare part di kapal dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kerurakan pada clamshell electro hydraulic grab proses bongkar muat dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Perencanaan pembentukan organisasi kerja yang dilakukan pada safety meeting sebelum melaksanakan pekerjaan, peran perwira dalam mengawasi semua pekerjaan, serta peralatan yang dapat menunjang kelancaran seluruh rangkaian pekerjaan. The researcher conducts research with the aim of finding out what are the causes of delay and how to overcome them.Based on the research that has been carried out on the ship using existing data and looking at the situation in the field, the authors get an overview of the above material along with the constraints - constraints in supporting the operation of the ship, especially regarding tools to clamshell electro hydraulic grab problems to solve the causes of lack of the maximum grab function that results in disruption of the loading cargo process in the MV. KT 02. The research method with a research approach uses fishbone methods. The source of data collected in the preparation of this thesis is obtained from primary data sources and secondary data sources. Methods of collecting and withdrawing data using observation, interviews, heritage studies and documentation studies.From the results of the research that the authors did, it was found that the causes of the lack of optimal maintenance of clamshell electro hydraulic grab include: difference prosedure maintenance clamshell electro hydraulic grab. Hight pressure pipe leaked, rusty joint point connector grab,electro motor cis burn, unavailability of spare parts, grabbed cable grab, lack of knowledge and skills crew of the ship. Actions taken to overcome the grab function optimally, namely maintenance periodically, the availability of spare parts. Conclusions from the results of the research, namely the planning and planning in handling the works on board that are related to maintenance can work well. Planning the establishment of work organizations carried out in safety meetings before carrying out work, the role of officers in supervising all work, and equipment that can support the smooth running of the entire series of work
