Abstract

INTISARI Rifqi Hanif Muti, NIT : 52155783.T, “Analisis Kerusaka Pada gear box hoist crane no. 2 di MV. Sri Wandari Indah ”, skripsi Program Studi Teknika, Progran Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: F. Pambudi Widiatmaka.ST.,M.T. dan Pembimbing II: Sri Purwantini S.E,SPd,M.M Crane adalah suatu pesawat bantu berfungsi sebagai alat bantu bongkar muat diatas kapal. Oprasional crane yang digerakkan dengan gear box maka perlunya kondisi gear box yang optimal. Gear box merupakan salah satu komponen pada crane yang berfungsi untuk merubah kecepatan dan arah putaran dari motor. Terjadinya kerusakan pada gear box hoist crane akan mengakibatkan tidak berfungsinya grab sehingga berdampak pada proses bongkar muat tertunda. Jenis metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah deskriptif kualitaf dengan menggunakan pendekatan fishbone analysis untuk mempermudah dalam teknik analisis data melalui penjabaran 4M sebagai kategori yang sesuai dengan penggunaan metode fishbone anlysis yaitu man, methode, machine, dan material. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara untuk memperkuat dalam analisis data yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kerusakan pada gear box hoist crane, dampak dari faktor penyebab kerusakan gear box hoist crane dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencegah faktor penyebab kerusakan pada gear box hoist crane di MV. Sri Wandari Indah. Faktor penyebab kerusakan pada gear box hoist crane no.2 di MV. Sri Wandari Indah adalah, 1) Tidak terlaksananta PMS (planned maintenance system). 2) Kesalahan pemasangan (misalignment), kurangnya kompetensi operator crane. 3) unbalance pada shaft gear, aus pada shft gear hoist.4) kualitas material spare part. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari faktor penyebab kerusakan gear box hoist crane dalah 1) tidak dapat berfungsinya proses grabing dan hook. 2) Terjadinya pemuaian yang tidak merata pada input shaft gear dan patah pada mata gigi yang mearata pada shaft gear. 3) Patahnya mata gigi shaft gear. 4) Terjadinya patahan pada mata gigi yang tidak merata pada main gear, dan Tidak optimalnya oprasional crane pada saat proses bongkar muat di atas kapal. Upaya yang dilakukan Untuk mencegah faktor-faktor penyebab kerusakan pada gear box hoist crane adalah dengan, 1) Perawatan yang dilakukan berdasarkan data dari running hours dan intruction manual log book 2) Melakukan perawatan balancing rpm pada servo motor dan Memberikan pelumasan yang cukup pada shaft gear. 3) Ketersediaan suku cadang yang memadahi dan memenuhi standart sesuai spesifikasi mesin crane. 4) Melakukan perawatan, perbaikan, dan pemasangan shaft gear sesuai dengan prosedur manual book dan Penggunaan ijin operator crane ABSTRACT Rifqi Hanif Muti, NIT: 52155783.T, "Damage Analysis of Gear box Hoist crane at MV. Crane is an auxiliary machinery that fungction is loading and unloading at ship. Crane operations are driven by a gearbox so the need for optimal gear box conditions. Gear box is one of the components on the crane that functions to change the speed and direction of rotation of the motor. Damage to the gear box hoist crane will result in the malfunction of the grab, which will result in a delayed loading and unloading process. The type of research method that the author uses in the preparation of this thesis is descriptive quality using a fishbone analysis approach to facilitate data analysis techniquee. The author also uses the method of data collection that the authors do is by observation, documentation and interviews to strengthen the data analysis. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing damage to the gear box hoist crane, the impact of the factors causing damage to the gear box hoist crane and the efforts made to prevent the factors causing damage to the gear box hoist crane in the MV. Sri Wandari Indah. Based on the results of the author's research, it can be concluded that the factors causing damage to the gear box hoist crane no.2 in MV. Sri Wandari Indah is, 1) Unplanned PMS (planned maintenance system). 2) Misalignment, lack of crane operator competence. 3) unbalanced on shaft gear, worn on shft gear hoist. 4) quality of spare part material. The impact caused by factors causing damage to the gear box hoist crane is 1) the malfunction of the grabing and hook process. 2) There was an uneven expansion of the shaft gear input and a fracture in the mean eye on the shaft gear. 3) Broken tooth shaft gear. 4) The occurrence of fractures on the uneven teeth on the main gear, and the non-optimal operation of the crane during the loading and unloading process on the vessel. Efforts made to prevent the factors that cause damage to the gear box hoist crane are by, 1) Maintenance carried out based on data from running hours and manual log book instruction 2) Perform rpm balancing treatment on the servo motor and provide sufficient lubrication on the shaft gear . 3) Availability of spare parts that accommodate and meet the standards according to the specifications of the crane engine. 4) Carry out maintenance, repairs, and installation of shaft gear in accordance with manual book procedures and the use of crane operator permits
