Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Diya Uzzaky Lukmanul Hakim, 2020, NIT: 51145176 N, “Pengoptimalan Keterampilan Crew Dalam Pelayanan Anchor Handling Accomodation Work Barge Tirta Rajawali Pada Kapal MV. Temasek Attaka”, skripsi Jurusan Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Capt. Anugrah Nur Prasetyo, M.Si, Pembimbing II: Vega Fonsula Andromeda, S.ST, S.Pd, M.hum Anchor handling merupakan kegiatan yang khusus dilakukan oleh kapalkapal offshore khususnya kapal Anchor Handling Tug and Supply (AHTS) dimana pekerjaan ini sangat riskan dan membahayakan. Dalam pelayanan kerja anchor handling terdapat beberapa faktor yang sangat berpengaruh pada kelancaran pelaksanaan anchor handling dan dapat dapat menimbulkan kecelakaan kerja. Selain faktor-faktor tersebut di atas, faktor yang sama pentingnya yaitu faktor kinerja crew dan faktor peralatan penunjang kegiatan anchor handling. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan keterampilan crew dalam pelayanan anchor handling accommodation work barge Tirta Rajawali, untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan peralatan serta perawatan terhadap peralatan penunjang kegiatan kerja anchor handling accommodation work barge Tirta Rajawali pada MV. Temasek Attaka. Metode yang digunakan dalam mendeskripsikan data penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif sedangkan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, studi pustaka dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari rumusan masalah yang ada dapat disimpulkan sesuai kondisi yang terjadi di MV.Temasek Attaka saat melakukan pelayanan kerja anchor handling accommodation work barge Tirta Rajawali menemui banyak kesulitan yaitu kinerja awak kapal yang kurang optimal dalam kegiatan pelayanan kerja anchor handling yang disebabkan kurangnya koordinasi dan komunikasi antara crew kapal dengan pihak barge/rig, kurangnya kecakapan crew dalam kegiatan anchor handling, serta peralatan penunjang kegiatan anchor handling yang belum beroperasi dengan baik yang disebabkan karena prosedur penggunaan peralatan penunjang kegiatan kerja anchor handling yang kurang jelas dan perawatan alat penunjang kegiatan anchor handling yang tidak sesuai dengan Plan Maintenance System (PMS). Oleh karena itu upaya yang dilakukan adalah peningkatan koordinasi dan system komunikasi, pelaksanaan familiarisasi tentang kegiatan anchor handling kepada crew, pelaksanaan prosedur pengoperasian dengan baik, serta perawatan alat kerja anchor handling di kapal dan alat penunjang lainnya sesuai dengan Plan Maintenance System (PMS). In anchor handling work services, there are several factors that are very influential that can cause accidents. In addition to these factors the same importance is the performance of the crew and also supporting equipment anchor handling activities. From the above matters, the writer raises the formulation of the problem that will be discussed in this thesis, which is as follows, what is the level of skills of the MV. Temasek Attaka crew in accommodation work barge Tirta Rajawali anchor handling services, how the MV. Temasek Attaka crew is able to optimize the skill of using anchor handling equipment on the ship. The method used by researchers in presenting problems is descriptive qualitative to describe and describe the object under study. Based on how to obtain it, the data obtained during the study is to use primary and secondary data, namely as a support for the preparation of this thesis. From the formulation of the problem, the writer concludes that according to the conditions that occur in MV. Temasek Attaka while doing accommodation work barge Tirta Rajawali anchor handling work, there are many difficulties, which are less than optimal performance of the crew in anchor handling work service activities due to lack of coordination and communication between the crew and the barge/rig, lack of crew skills in anchor handling activities, and supporting equipment for anchor handling activities that have not been operating properly due to unclear procedures for using anchor handling work equipment, and maintenance of anchor handling supporting activities that are not in accordance with Plan Maintenance System (PMS). Therefore, the efforts made are improving coordination and communication systems, implementing familiarization of anchor handling activities to the crew, implementing operating procedures properly, and maintaining anchor handling work equipment on ships and other supporting tools in accordance with the Plan Maintenance System (PMS).
