Abstract

ABSTRAK Winang Ardibara Adhi Atmaja, 2019, NIT : 51145265. N, “Penanggulangan Luapan Air Got Dalam Ruang Muat Pada Kapal Container Di KM. Armada Papua”. Skripsi Program Studi Nautika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I : Capt. H. S. Sumardi, S.H., M.M., M.Mar, Pembimbing II: Nur Rohmah, S.E., M.M. Kapal container adalah jenis kapal yang khusus mengangkut muatan peti kemas yang dilengkapi dengan ruang muat. Pada tanggal 04 November 2017 ruang muat di KM. Armada Papua mengalami luapan air yang berasal dari air hujan yang masuk melalui celah hatch cover dan sisa pembuangan pada sewage yang menjadikan muatan terendam luapan air got. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penyebab muatan di KM. Armada Papua menjadi rusak dan penyebab pembongkaran di pelabuhan menjadi terhambat. Metode yang digunakan adalah fishbone yang digunakan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berkaitan dengan luapan air got dalam ruang muat dan USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Grownt) yang digunakan untuk mendapat/memperoleh prioritas dari permasalahan terjadinya luapan air got dalam ruang muat yang mengakibatkan terjadinya keterlambatan dalam proses bongkar. Hasil penenelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab muatan di KM. Armada Papua menjadi rusak adalah kurangnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan crew dalam melakukan pengaawasan muatan, pelaksanaan prosedur perawatan yang kurang dipahami, kurangnya pengecekan dan perawatan terhadap perawatan (pompa got, alarm¸dan karet kedap air pada hatch cover), dan curah hujan yang tidak dapat diprediksi. Penyebab kegiatan bongkar di suatu pelabuhan menjadi terhambat adalah dilarangnya pengoperasian pompa hisap saat terjadi luapan air got dalam ruang muat, dan kegiatan cleaning yang tidak sesuai dengan prosedur. Sumardi, S.H., M.M., M.Mar, Supervisor : Nur Rohmah, S.E., M.M. Container vessel is a vessel in order to bring container cargo which provides cargo space. At November 4th 2017, cargo space inside MV. Armada Papua experienced drain flotation from the rain which came inside through the gap between hatch cover and sewage, which caused the cargo submersed by the drain flotation. The purpose of this research is to learn the reasons of the broken cargo of MV. Armada Papua, and why did the discharging activity in the port hampered. The method of this research is fishbone, which is used to analyze the factor regarding with the drain flotation inside the cargo space and USG (urgency, Seriousness, Grown), which is used in order to get the priority and the root of the problem from what happened inside the vessel that caused the hamper in the discharging process. The result of the research shows that the reasons of the broken cargo inside MV. Armada Papua are the lack of the realization and the information of the crew when taking care of the cargo, lack of the knowledge regarding implementation of the procedure, the lack of the checking and maintenance; such like pump, alarm and the water resistant rubber at hatch cover, and the amount of the rain that couldn’t be predicted. The reasons on why did the discharging activity hampered are they wouldn’t allow the operation of the pump when the drain flotation happened inside the cargo space, and the cleaning activity that wasn’t according the procedure. .
