Abstract

ABSTRAK Vandha Andhika Pratama S.A.V.(51145137), 2019, “Optimalisasi Proses Bongkar Muat Dengan Rutinitas Perawatan Lashing di MV. Meratus Project 1”. Skripsi, Jurusan Nautika, PIP, Semarang. Pembimbing I: Capt. H Agus Subardi., M.Mar Pembimbing II: Yustina Sapan,S.St., M.M. Agar pengangkutan barang dari pelabuhan muat ke pelabuhan bongkar bisa tepat waktu sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah diperkirakan, maka dalam melaksanakan perawatan alat lashing merupakan salah satu faktor penting agar proses pemuatan berjalan lancar. Berdasarkan fakta tersebut penulis tertarik untuk membuat skripsi dengan judul “ Optimalisasi Proses Bongkar Muat Dengan Rutinitas Perawatan Lashing di MV. Meratus Project 1.” Dalam melaksanakan perawatan peralatan alat lashing ada beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi yaitu : bagaimana pelaksanaan manajemen perawatan lashing di kapal MV. Meratus Project 1 dan upaya apa sajakah yang dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan perawatan lashing di kapal MV. Meratus Project 1. Sesuai dengan permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam malaksanakan perawatan alat lashing muncul jawaban sementara atas masalah yang dikemukakan, diantaranya : Diduga bahwa kurangnya perawatan alat lashing di MV. Meratus Project 1 karena keterlambatan pemberian grease sehingga turnbuckle tidak dapat berulir dengan lancar dan menjadi tidak kencang dapat menghambat kelancaran proses bongkar muat. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif, kualitatif dengan menggunakan analisa data fishbone untuk menjabarkan kendala-kendala yang terjadi. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kurang optimalnya proses bongkar muat dipengaruhi dari managemen peralatan yang kurang baik dan kurangnya upaya-upaya dari crew kapal dan sering mengabaikan dalam hal perawatan alat lashing. Untuk itu hendaknya perawatan terhadap peralatan lashing dilakukan secara rutin dan terjadwal dan perlunya meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman crew kapal untuk melakukan perawatan peralatan lashing ABSTRACT Vandha Andhika Pratama S.A.V.(51145137), 2019, " Optimization of Loading and Unloading Processes with Lashing Care Routines in the MV. In order to transport goods from the loading port to the loading port, it can be on time in accordance with the estimated schedule, so that in carrying out the maintenance of the lashing tool, one of the important factors is that the loading process runs smoothly. Based on these facts the author is interested in making a thesis with the title "Optimization of Loading and Unloading Processes with Lashing Care Routines in the MV. Meratus Project 1. "In carrying out the treatment of lashing equipment there are several problems faced, namely: how to implement lashing maintenance management on vessels MV. Meratus Project 1 and what are some efforts to optimize lashing care on vessels MV. Meratus Project 1. In accordance with the problems faced in implementing lashing tool maintenance, a temporary answer to the problems raised, including: It is suspected that the lack of lashing equipment in the MV. Meratus Project 1 because of the late granting of grease so that the turnbuckle cannot thread smoothly and becomes not tight can hamper the smooth loading and unloading process. In this study the author uses descriptive method, qualitative by using fishbone data analysis to describe the obstacles that occur. The data sources used are observation, interviews and documentation . Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the lack of optimal loading and unloading process is influenced by poor equipment management and the lack of efforts of the ship crew and often neglects in terms of lashing tool maintenance. For this reason, care for lashing equipment is carried out routinely and scheduled and the need to increase ship crew awareness and understanding to carry out lashing equipment maintenance
