ABSTRAKSI Tino Wisnu Dewantara. NIT. 51145230.N, 2019 "Analisis pelaksanaan proses pemuatan batu bara pada MV. Kartini Samudra di pelabuhan Lubuk Tutung Kalimantan Timur", Diploma IV Program, Nautika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbung I : Capt. Ali Imran Ritonga, M.M., M.Mar. and Pembimbing II : Vega Fonsula Andromeda, S.ST, MM. Pelaksanaan proses muat yang terjadi di pelabuhan Lubuk Tutung Kalimantan Timur sering mengalami keterlambatan dalam proses pemuatannya, Penyebab terjadinya keterlambatan dalam proses pemuatan dikarenakan kerusakan peralatan muat dan kurang siapnya ruang muat, pada saat kapal berlayar terjadi kemiringan kapal yang disebabkan bergesernya muatan, tentu ini membuat proses bongkar muat berjalan lambat, dan mengganggu pelayaran kapal. Peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan mencari tau mengapa terjadi keterlambatan proses pemuatan dan mengapa terjadi kemiringan kapal pada saat berlayar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah metode analisis Fish Bone Anlysis sebagai metode untuk menentukan akar permasalahan dan SWOT (kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, ancaman) untuk mencari penyelesaian masalah mengapa terjadi keterlambatan proses pemuatan batu bara pada MV. Kartini Samudra dan mengapa terjadi kemiringan kapal pada saat berlayar. Dari hasil penelitian yang peneliti lakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan yaitu faktor penyebab terjadinya keterlambatan adalah dari beebagai faktor, yaitu faktor manajemen, faktor peralatan, faktor keadaan, faktor manusia. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan (1) Melakukan perawatan dan mengganti alat muat dengan alat muat pengganti (2) Adanya perwira yang berpengalaman dapat membatu menyiapkan ruang muat dengan baik (3) menambah armada tongkang yang beroprosi (4) melaksanakan dan melakukan komunikasi dengan pihak darat sehingga pelaksanaan muat berjalan dengan lancar. Miringnya kapal pada saat berlayar yang terjadi pada MV. Kartini Samudra disebabkan karena penumpukan muatan pada salah satu sisi palka dan bergesernya muatan dikarenakan gelombang air laut serta pengaturan trim yang kurang sesuai, kejadian miringnya kapal dapat membahayakan crew kapal dan kapal itu sendiri. The loading process that took place in the Lubuk Tutung port of East Kalimantan often experienced delays in the loading process. The cause of delays in loading process due to damage to loading equipment and the lack of cargo space, when the ship sailed due to shifting the cargo, this caused the process loading and unloading runs slowly, and interferes with shipping. The researcher conducts research with the aim of finding out why there is a delay in the loading process and why the tilt occurs when sailing. The method used in this paper is the Fish Bone Anlysis analysis method as a method to determine the root of the problem and SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) to find a solution to the problem of delaying the loading process of coal in the MV. Kartini Samudra and why the tilt of the ship when sailing. From the results of the research that the researchers did, it can be concluded that the factors causing the delay are from a number of factors, namely management factors, equipment factors, state factors, human factors. The method that is carried out is by doing (1) Carrying out maintenance and replacing the loading equipment with replacement loading equipment (2) The presence of experienced officers can help prepare the cargo hold properly (3) increase the barge fleet which operates (4) carry out and communicate with parties land so that the loading process runs smoothly. The tilt of the ship when sailing occurred in the MV. Kartini Samudra is caused by the accumulation of cargo on one side of the hatch and the shifting of the load due to the waves of the sea and the arrangement of the trim that is not suitable, the occurrence of tilting the ship can endanger the ship's crew and the ship it self.
