SUHARSO, S.H., S.Pd, S.E., M.M, Pembimbing II : ABDI SENO, M.Si, M.Mar,E Perjanjian kontrak kerja laut adalah suatu perjanjian yang disepakati oleh kedua belah pihak antara pekerja/crew kapal dengan pihak perusahaan, namun fenomena sekarang ini banyak crew kapal yang kontrak kerjanya tidak sesuai dengan yang disepakati, itu disebabkan karena berbagai alasan, salah satunya adalah tidak memperolehnya kenyamanan dalam bekerja yang menyebabkan crew kapal memutuskan kontrak kerjanya tidak sesuai dengan yang disepakati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor dari ketidaknyamanan di atas kapal, dampak dari ketidaknyamanan di atas kapal dan upaya yang dilakukan PT. Karya Sumber Energy Jakarta untuk mengatasi ketidaknyamanan di atas kapal sehingga waktu kontrak kerja crew on board sesuai. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu menganalisa fenomena pengaruh ketidaknyamanan di atas kapal terhadap ketidaksesuaian waktu kontrak kerja crew on board di PT. Karya Sumber Energy Jakarta. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Data-data yang dikumpulkan oleh penulis berupa kata-kata yang bersumber dari orang-orang yang terkait dengan ketidaknyamanan di atas kapal dan data-data hasil observasi langsung penulis. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penyebab terjadinya ketidaknyamanan di atas kapal terhadap ketidaksesuaian waktu kontrak kerja crew on board di PT. Karya Sumber Energy Jakarta dikarenakan beberapa faktor yaitu pihak owner perusahaan kurang respon atas proses permintaan sparepart kapal dan keterlambatan pengiriman gaji crew kapal. Dampak dari ketidaksesuaian waktu kontrak kerja crew on board menimbulkan kerugian bagi perusahaan dan kegiatan di atas kapal terganggu. Upaya yang dilakukan PT. Karya Sumber Energy supaya crew kapal memperoleh kenyamanan bekerja sehingga waktu kontrak kerja crew on board sesuai adalah memberikan pemahaman dan pengawasan kepada owner kapal tentang kondisi keadaan di atas kapal supaya proses permintaan sparepart kapal dan pengiriman gaji crew kapal menjadi tepat waktu dan sesuai dengan permintaan. This study aims to determine the factors of discomfort on the boat, the impact of discomfort on the boat and the efforts made by PT. Karya Sumber Energy Jakarta to deal with inconvenience on the ship so that the time of the crew on board work contract is appropriate. In this study, the authors used descriptive qualitative research, namely analyzing the phenomenon of the influence of discomfort on the ship against a mismatch in the time the crew contract work on board at PT. Karya Sumber Energy Jakarta. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation and literature. The data collected by the author in the form of words originating from people associated with discomfort on the boat and data from the direct observation of the author. The results obtained from this study indicate that the cause of the discomfort on board the ship was the incompatibility of the crew on board work contract at PT. Karya Sumber Energy Jakarta is due to several factors, namely the owner of the company who does not understand the condition of the ship and the late delivery of salaries for the crew. The impact of the incompatibility of time the crew on board work contract caused losses to the company, the activities on the ship were disrupted and became a lack of interest of applicants to the company. Efforts made by PT. Karya Sumber Energy so that the crew can get the comfort of work so that when the on board crew work contract is appropriate is to provide training or understanding of what must be done on board, provide good facilities and services from the company to crew on board and pay attention to ship crew salaries.
