Abstract

ABSTRAK I Made Adi Sarjana Putra, 2019, NIT: 52155860 K, “Analisis Fix Overtime Guna Meningkatkan Kinerja Dinas Jaga ABK Kapal MT. Falcon 18 di PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines”, Skripsi Ketatalaksanaan Angkatan Laut dan Kepelabuhan, Program Diploma Program IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: R.A.J Susilo Hadi Wibowo, S.IP., M.M, Pembimbing II: Tony Santiko, S.ST., M.Si Fix overtime pada Kapal MT. Falcon 18 di PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines, dapat membantu ABK Kapal menyelesaikan pekerjaan secara tepat waktu dengan waktu yang terbatas, akan tetapi pelaksanaan fix overtime pada PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines belum berjalan dengan baik sehingga untuk meningkatkan kinerja ABK Kapal perlu dilakukan perbaikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penyebab dari munculnya fix overtime guna meningkatkan kinerja Dinas Jaga, dampak dari fix overtime guna meningkatkan kinerja Dinas Jaga dan kebijakan apa yang diberikan kepada ABK Kapal guna meningkatkan kinerja Dinas Jaga pada PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan akan mengungkap fakta, fenomena, variabel dan keadaan yang terjadi saat penelitian berjalan mengenai fix overtime yang dialami oleh Anak Buah Kapal di MT. Falcon 18. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, studi pustaka dan dokumentasi berupa foto-foto pelaksanaan fix overtime pada ABK Kapal MT. Falcon 18 di PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan penyebab dari adanya penyebab fix overtime diantaranya, peran muka belakang ketika sandar atau lepas sandar, adanya lego jangkar, bongkar muat muatan, drill, bunkering, dan pemeliharaan mesin kapal. Dampak dari adanya fix overtime adalah banyak yang tidak betah sehingga banyak crew kapal yang ingin turun sebelum kontraknya habis, dan kebijakan dari fix overtime ada masalah–masalah atau kendala yang perlu adanya waktu dan proses agar terciptanya upaya–upaya atau langkah–langkah yang dilakukan dapat terwujud usaha yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya, meningkatkan gaji, pemberian insentif dan kompensasi dan vessel allowance kepada crew Kapal MT. Falcon 18 at PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines, can help ship crews finish work in a timely manner with limited time, but fix overtime at PT. The Odyssey Shipping Lines have not run well so that to improve the performance of vessel crew need. The purpose of this study is to find out the cause of the emergence of overtime fixes to improve the performance of the Department of watch-keeping, the impact of overtime fixes to improve the performance of the Department of Guard and what policies are given to ship crews to improve the performance of the Department of watch-keeping at PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by revealing facts, phenomena, variables and circumstances that occur when the study goes on fixing the overtime experienced by the vessel subordinates in MT. Falcon 18. Data collection is done by interview, observation, library study and documentation in the form of photographs of fixing overtime at the vessel Crew of PT. Odyssey Shipping Lines. The results of the study show the causes of the overtime fix, including the role of the back face when leaning or off, the presence of anchors, loading and unloading, drill, bunkering, and maintenance of the ship's engine. The impact of fixing overtime is that many are not at home, so many crew members who want to go down before the contract expires, and policies from fix overtime have problems or constraints that need time and process to create efforts or steps taken can business can be realized including increasing salaries, providing incentives and compensation and allowance vessels to the crew of the MT.
