Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Prisma Dwi Avrianto, 52155750. T, 2019, “Identifikasi turunnya tekanan pada Emergency Fire Pump di SV. NMS Bravery”, skripsi Program Studi Teknika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: H. Amad Narto, M.pd, M.Mar.E, Pembimbing II: Ir, Fitri Kensiwi,M.Pd. Kapal dapat mengalami kecelakaan misalnya terjadi kebakaran oleh karena itu kita harus memperhatikan tentang dampak dari bahaya kebakaran khususnya dilaut.Mengingat hal tersebut maka kemampuan emergency fire pump sangat penting guna memadamkan kebakaran yang terjadi sewaktu–waktu dan demi tercapainya rasa aman dan nyaman untuk semua kru. Selain itu kemampuan emergency fire pump ini juga sangat penting guna mengurangi kerugian material maupun nyawa kru. Metode yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah metode Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan teknik analisa fishbone dan fault tree analysis sebagai metode untuk menentukan penyebab dan upaya untuk menanggulanginya.Adapun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi turunnya tekanan pada emergency fire pump, dampak turunnya tekanan pada pompa, dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi turunnya tekanan pada pompa. Faktor utama yang menyebabkan turunnya tekanan pada emergency fire pump yaitu ausnya impeller pada pompa dan kebocoran pada pipa (flange) yang diakibatkan terjadinya korosi serta rusaknya packing. Dampak turunnya tekanan pada emergency fire pump yaitu adanya penurunan kapasitas air pada pompa dan pompa tidak dapat menghasilkan tekanan yang maksimal.Upaya yang dilakukan agar tekanan emergency fire pump menjadi optimal yaitu dengan mengeluarkan udara yang ada pada rumah pompa dan membersihkan saringan serta menggunakan saringan yang bersih dan baik. Ships can experience accidents such as a fire, therefore we must pay attention to the effects of fire hazards, especially at sea. Given this, the ability of the emergency fire pump is very important to extinguish fires that occur at any time and in order to achieve a sense of security and comfort for all crews. Besides that the ability of the emergency fire pump is also very important to reduce material losses and the lives of the crew. The method used in this thesis is Qualitative Descriptive method with fishbone analysis and fault tree analysis techniques as a method to determine the causes and efforts to overcome them. As for the problem formulation of this study are the factors that influence the pressure drop on the emergency fire pump, the impact pressure drops on the pump, and efforts made to overcome the pressure drop on the pump. The main factor that causes a decrease in pressure on the emergency fire pump is the wear of the impeller on the pump and the leakage of the pipe (flange) caused by corrosion and damage to the packing. The impact of the decrease in pressure on an emergency fire pump, namely a decrease in water capacity at the pump and pump can not produce maximum pressure. Efforts are made so that the emergency fire pump pressure is optimal by removing the air in the pump house and cleaning the filter and using a clean filter and good.
