Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Kukuh Martana Rino, 2019, NIT: 52155834 T, “Analisa menurunnya kinerja crew mesin di MV. Glovis Diamond”, skripsi Program Studi Teknika, Program Diploma IV, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: H. Mustholiq, M.M., M.Mar.E, Pembimbing II: Capt. Firdaus Sitepu, S.ST, M.Si, M.Mar. Kinerja adalah gambaran mengenai tingkat pencapaian pelaksanaan suatu program kegiatan atau kebijakan dalam mewujudkan sasaran, tujuan, visi dan misi organisasi yang dituangkan melalui perencanaan strategi suatu organisasi. Namun fenomena sekarang ini, banyak crew mesin yang mengalami penurunan kinerja yang disebabkan berbagai alasan, salah satunya adalah tidak efektivitasnya penerapan unmanned system. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fault tree analysis (FTA) sebagai teknik analisis data. Fault tree analisis adalah suatu teknik yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi resiko-resiko yang menjadi peran terhadap terjadinya kegagalan dengan pendekatan yang bersifat top down, yang diawali dengan asumsi kegagalan atau kerugian dari kejadian puncak (top event) kemudian mencari sebab-sebab suatu top event sampai pada suatu kegagalan dasar (root cause) dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data ini penulis bertujuan mencari faktor penyebab menurunnya kinerja crew mesin MV. Glovis Diamond sampai pada kegagalan dasar (basic event). Setelah kegagalan tersebut ditemukan maka akan dicari dampak dan upaya yang harus dilakukan sehingga kinerja crew mesin meningkat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan penulis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa menurunnya kinerja crew mesin di MV. Glovis Diamond disebabkan oleh, 1) Kurang efektivnya penerapan unmanned system, 2) Terjadinya gangguan pada kinerja permesinan dimalam hari, 3) Banyaknya manouver. Untuk mencegah faktor-faktor tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan mengubah dinas jaga unmanned system dengan dinas jaga konvensional 4 jam, aktif melakukan pengecekan terhadap semua permesinan yang beroperasi, dan memberikan jam istirahat sebelum melakukan manouver. Firdaus Sitepu, S.ST, M.Si, M.Mar Performance is a picture of the level of achievement of the implementation of a program of activities or policies in realizing the goals, objectives, vision and mission of the organization as outlined through an organization’s strategic planning. But the current phenomenon is many engine crew are a decreased in performance due to various reasons, one of which is the ineffectiveness of the application unmanned system. The research method that researcher uses in the preparation of this paper is a qualitative descriptive research method by using a fault tree analysis (FTA) approach as a data analysis technique. Fault tree analysis (FTA) is a technique that used to identify risks that are the role of failure with a top down approach, which begins with the assumption of failure or loss from the top event and then details the causes of a top event arrived at a root cause by using this data analysis technique. The research aimed to find out the causes of decreased performance of engine crew in MV. Glovis Diamond unti to the basic event. After the failure is found, the effects and efforts must be sought so that the performance of engine crew optimally. Based on the result of the research conducted by the research, it can be conclude that the decreased performance of engine crew in MV. Glovis Diamond is caused by, 1) less effective implementation of the unmanned system, 2) disruption of machinery performance at night time 3) lots of maneuver. To prevent these factors can be done by changed the unmanned system duty to conventional duti 4 hour, actively checking all operating machinery and providing rest hour before maneuvering.
