Abstract

T, “Analysis Shaft Turbocharger Diesel Generator Engine have broken in MV.DK 02”, thesis Teknika Studies Program, Diploma Program IV, Merchant Marine Polytechnic Semarang, Supervisior I: F. Pambudi Widiatmaka, ST, MT., M.Mar.E, Supervisior II : Sri Murdiwati, S.Sos .,M.si A diesel generator engine is an internal combustion engine that uses compressed heat to create ignition and burn fuel that has been injected into the combustion chamber. So that maintenance and repair of the diesel generator engine must be done in accordance with the procedures in the manual. Components that are affected on the diesel generator engine will affect the performance of the diesel generator engine and the main function of the diesel generator engine. Because of the large number of possible damages awaiting the diesel generator engine, the researchers took one of the damage that occurred while carrying out the research, shaft turbocharger on the diesel engine turbocharger generator have broken. Damage that occurs very fatal to the diesel generator engine The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with fishbone data analysis techniques to determine the possibility of impact factors and problem efforts based on the environment, humans, machines, procedures and the possibility to determine priority problems. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature study. The results of research conducted by researchers concluded that the cause of broken turbocharger shaft maintenance that is not in accordance with the maintenance plan, unstable lubricating oil pressure, hot water cooling oil heat oil, and lack of knowledge and experience of engineers about diesel engine turbochargers. This has an impact on the work of the diesel engine generator lubrication work is not optimal. To overcome these factors can be done with maintenance according to the maintenance plan, cleaning the oil filter lubricant, cleaning the sea chest, providing training and testing and familiarization to the engineer about diesel engine turbochargers on board. Pambudi Widiatmaka, ST, MT., M.Mar.E, Pembimbing II : Sri Murdiwati, S.Sos .,M.si Mesin diesel generator adalah motor bakar pembakaran dalam yang menggunakan panas kompresi untuk menciptkan penyalaan dan membakar bahan bakar yang telah diinjeksikan ke dalam ruang bakar. Sehingga perawatan dan perbaian pada mesin diesel generator harus dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur dalam buku manual. Komponen yang rusak pada mesin diesel generator akan mempengaruhi kinerja mesin diesel generator dan fungsi utama pada mesin diesel generator. Karena banyaknya kemungkinan kerusakan yang terjadi pada mesin diesel generator, maka peneliti mengambil salah satu kerusakan yang terjadi saat melaksanakan penelitian yaitu patahnya shaft pada turbocharger mesin diesel generator. Kerusakan yang terjadi sangat fatal pada mesin diesel generator. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik analisis data fishbone analysis dan fault tree analysis untuk menentukan kemungkinan faktor dampak dan upaya masalah berdasarkan lingkungan, manusia, mesin, prosedur dan kemudian untuk menentukan masalah yang menjadi prioritas. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta daftar pustaka. Hasil peneitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti disimpulkan penyebab shaft turbocharger patah perawatan yang tidak sesuai maintenance plan, tekanan minyak lumas yang tidak stabil, suhu air pendingin minyak lumas yang panas, dan kurangnya pengetahuan dan pengalaman engineer tentang turbocharger mesin diesel generator. Hal tersebut berdampak pada kerja pelumasan kerja mesin diesel tidak maksimal. Untuk mengatasi faktor-faktor tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan perawatan sesuai maintenance plan, melakukan pembersihan filter minyak lumas, melakukan pembersihan filter sea chest, memerikan training dan ujian serta familiarisasi kepada engineer tentang turbocharger mesin diesel generator dikapal.
