Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Bagas Dwiyanto, NIT. 51145308.T, 2019 “ Analisis tidak normalnya Cargo Stripping Pump di kapal MT.KETALING”, Program Diploma IV, Teknika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Sarifuddin,M.Pd,M.Mar.E,. dan Pembimbing II: Yustina Sapan S.ST.,M,M. Pompa merupakan pesawat bantu yang digunakan untuk memindahkan cairan dari satu tempat ke tempat lain. Tidak ada cairan yang tidak bisa dipindahkan dengan pompa. Jika pompa tidak dapat memindahkan produk, mungkin produknya bukan cairan. Pompa stripping secara umum berfungsi untuk memindahkan muatan dari tanki satu ke tanki lainya. Kerja pompa stripping ditujukan untuk apabila pompa cargo sudah tidak dapat menghisap sehingga menggunakan pompa tersebut Pompa ulir digunakan untuk memindahkan cairan seperti minyak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode USG. Metode untuk menentukan prioritas masalah yang ada. Adapun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah faktor apa yang mengakibatkan tidak normalnya cargo stripping pump, dampak yang ditimbulkan dan upaya untuk mengoptimalkan kerja pompa ulir . Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penyebab tidak normalnya cargo stripping pump adalah lengketnya kedua impeller ulir dan panasnya bearing pompa, Dampak yang di timbulkan dari masalah adalah terlambatya prosses bongkar muat Upaya yang dilakukan adalah pembongkaran, pengeekan dan perawatan secara berkala. Pumps are auxiliary planes that are used to move fluids from one place to another. There is no liquid that cannot be moved with a pump. If the pump cannot move the product, maybe the product is not liquid. The stripping pump generally functions to move cargo from one tank to another. The stripping pump work is intended for when the cargo pump cannot suck so that it uses the pump The screw pump is used to move liquids such as oil. The metode used is USG. Metode for determining the priority of existing problems. The formulation of the problem from this study is what factors lead to abnormal cargo stripping pump, the impact and efforts to optimize the work of the screw pump. From the results of this study it was concluded that the cause of abnormal cargo stripping pump is the stickiness of the two threaded impellers and the heat of the pump bearing, the impact of the problem is the delay in loading and unloading processes
