Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Lukmanul Hakim,51145186.N, 2019, “Mengolah gerakdalam mempertahankan posisi MV. Dian radinace di area terbatas pada saat bongkar muat di RIG". Skripsi Program Diploma IV, Nautika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Capt. Didik Widarbowo, MT., M.Mar. Pembimbing II: Ir. Fitri kensiwi, M.Pd. Pengetahuan dan kemampuan mengolah gerak kapal harus di miliki oleh seorang Mualim sehubungan dengan tugas-tugasnya sebagai Perwira diatas kapal. Mengolah gerak kapal dapat diartikan sebagai menguasai kapal, baik dalam keadaan diam maupun bergerak seefisien mungkin dengan mempergunakan sarana yang terdapat di atas kapal itu seperti mesin, kemudi dan lain-lain.Berdasarkan pengalaman penulis selama praktik berlayar di MV. Dian Radiance, proses pelaksanaan mengolah gerak dalam mempertahankan posisi di area terbatas pada saat bongkar muat di RIG kurang optimal yang dapat mengakibatkan kecelakaan kecil ataupun besar sepaerti; Tubrukan atau senggolan antar kapal, kapal membentur kaki RIG dengan keras, tali tambat putus, crew terjepit tali dan lain-lain. Hal ini karena kurangnya penguasaan ilmu tentang mengolah gerak dalam mempertahankan posisi kapal,Sehingga diperlukan tindakan preventif guna menghindari keragu-raguan dalam mengambil keputusan yang dapat membahayakan semua pihak. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kesiapan dalam mengolah gerak kapal perlu diadakan pelatihan-pelatihan dengan tujuan agar dalam menghadapi keadaan darurat sesungguhnya tidak terjadi kerancuan dalam mengambil suatu keputusan. Penulismenggunakan metode teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik deskriptif kualitatif penulis gunakan untuk menguraikan metode yang digunakan proses mengolah gerak dalam mempertahankan posisi MV. Dian Radiance di area terbatas pada saat bongkar muat di RIG. Berdasarkan analisa penelitian dan pengalaman penulis selama praktik berlayar di MV. Dian Radiance, bahwasanya proses pelaksanaan mengolah gerak dalam mempertahankan posisi di area terbatas saat bongkar di RIG kurang optimal. Yang disebabkan dari berbagai macam faktor baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan penulis selama praktek layar yaitu kurangnya memahami keadaan alam serta persiapan sebelum melakukan olah gerak yang akan mengakibatkan keadaan darurat seperti kehilangan stabilnya kapal dalam mempertahankan posisi sehingga terbenturnya kapal dengan kaki RIG. The knowledge and ability to process ship movements must be possessed by a Muslim officer in connection with his duties as an officer on board. Processing ship movements can be interpreted as mastering the ship, both in a state of silence and moving as efficiently as possible by using the facilities contained on the ship such as engines, steering and others.Based on the author's experience during the sailing practice at MV. Dian Radiance, the implementation process processes motion in maintaining a position in a limited area when loading and unloading in a RIG is less optimal which can result in small or large accidents like; Collisions or bumps between ships, the ship hit the RIG's feet hard, the mooring rope broke, the crew was pinned by a rope and others.This is because of the lack of mastery of knowledge about processing motion in maintaining the position of the ship, so that preventive action is needed to avoid doubts in making decisions that can endanger all parties. Therefore, to improve readiness in processing ship movements, training needs to be held with the aim that in dealing with emergencies there is really no confusion in making a decision. The author uses qualitative descriptive techniques. The qualitative descriptive technique I used to describe the method used in the process of processing motion in maintaining the position of MV. Dian Radiance in a restricted area during loading and unloading in the RIG.Based on the analysis of research and experience of the author during the practice of sailing in the MV. Dian Radiance, that the implementation process processes motion in maintaining position in a limited area when unloading in the RIG is less than optimal. Which is caused by various factors, both internal and external factors. Based on the results of research conducted by the author during the practice of the screen that is the lack of understanding the state of nature and preparation before carrying out a motion that will lead to emergencies such as losing the stability of the ship in maintaining the position so that the ship collides with the legs of the RIG.
