Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Apri Listiyanto, NIT. 51145464.T, 2019 “ Analisa kerusakan lubrication oil cooler yang berdampak berkurangnya kapasitas minyak lumas pada sump tank mesin induk di MV.Jk.Galaxy “, Program Diploma IV, Teknika, Politeknik Imu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Ahmad Wahyudiono,M.M.,M.Mar.E dan Pembimbing II:Sri Purwantini,S.E.,S.Pd, M.M Lubrication oil cooler merupakan permesinan bantu yang penting dikapal dimana kelancaran pengoperasian mesin induk sangat dipengaruhi oleh kinerja lubrication oil cooler yang baik. Lubrication oil cooler yang berfungsi mendinginkan minyak lumas setelah minyak lumas melumasi komponen mesin induk. Sehingga ketika terjadi kerusakan pada lubrication oil cooler akan berpengaruh terhadap kapasitas minyak lumas yang akan menyebabkan menurunya performa dari mesin induk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode SWOT dan HAZOP, dimana SWOT digunakan untuk mencari faktor dan upaya sedangkan Hazop digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak dan risiko dari kerusakan lubrication oil cooler. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penyebab berkurangnya kapasitas minyak lumas pada sump tank adalah kerusakan lubrication oil cooler. Kerusakan pada gasket, plate l.o cooler dan bocornya pipa l.o cooler adalah penyebab kerusakan lubrication oil cooler. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara melakukan perbaikan atau penggantian gasket pada plate l.o cooler, perbaikan pada plate l.o cooler dan perbaikan pada pipa yang bocor. Lubrication oil cooler that functions to cool oil down after oil has lubricated the components of the main engine. The method used is the SWOT and HAZOP method, where the SWOT is used to identify the factors and effort while the HAZOP is used Identify risk and effect damged by lubrication oil cooler. The results of the study show that the cause of the reduction in lubricating oil capacity in the sump tank is damage to the lubrication oil cooler. The damage to the lubrication oil cooler was damage to the plate L.o cooler gasket which would reduce the lubricating oil capacity, so to keep the lubrication oil cooler working properly, a gasket and plate l.o cooler should be replaced.
